2 bags in my bearded dragons 40 gal terrarium provides room for digging

It has only been a week or so, but so far it is working well. It has neutralized the oder from the waste of my bearded dragon. You may want to combine this with an oder eliminating spray for when your pet chooses to poo on a rock or fixture versus the sand.

Nice substrate that helps with odors but gets everywhere

I liked that this substrate helps with odors because my gecko is in my small office and can sometimes get stinky. The only downside is his cage has to be opened from the top and the little cut out for food and water is small. This substrate is very light, so when he scoots around it gets all in his food and water bowl so I find I'm having to clean them more often. I don't think this would stop me from buying in the future, just something to consider if you have a hard to open cage like mine.

Worth every penny!

Best investment you could make for beardies! We’ve spent hundreds of dollars in the past two years trying to find the right products for our two bearded dragons. I have mostly been unhappy about the quality of products we’ve been able to get our hands on. But this sand is worth every penny! I hate bad smells and didn’t want my children to have pets because of the smells that come with them. Before we got this sand, our dragon habitats needed to have the poop removed daily and the whole cage had to be cleaned out every three days or the smell was unbearable. Now all we have to do is scoop out the poop every day and there is literally no smell! Plus the lizards are really enjoying the sand. They like to dig around in it and only tried to eat it on the first day. Once they got a mouthful they never tried again. Highly recommend this product if you are trying to save money and keep a high quality habitat for your bearded dragons!

Pretty good product but make sure you buy enough of it! I thought it could mix with sand but it has to be by itself and one bag isn't nearly enough for a bigger tank. It did kind of help smell wise, but honestly one of those reptile mat floors works the best

Simple

I’ve had a mat in my bearded dragons cage for a year. I switched to sand and will never go back. This stuff if the best! It’s like kitty litter, so easy to clean, No odor, my guy doesn’t seem to have an issue with it! Subscription worthy

Works great!

Wow I love this product it's A little pricey but it's still worth buying because all reptile owners know the struggle of nasty smelling fesses. This sand like substrate eliminates that smell when they use the bathroom I cant explain enough how good it works its crazy how it does. One bag can fill the whole bottom of a 30- 35 gallon tank. The only thing I would have to say I don't like is when you do clean it the dust from it comes up and when my lizards eat they get some in their mouth and they twitch and try and get it out. So that's why I mixed it but it does work with eliminating smells.

Does as marketed....

Did reduce overall odour detected; will 'speckle' which ever sand colour you mix it with as it is more granular than fine. Recommended product!
