20 tooth chainring skips constantly with 8-speed crank, but it is so well made, I kept it for another use, just not on the bike.

20 t works fine

Bought 20T one. Attached to old chainring with 5 bolts. Works fine. Added a derailleur to front. Fabulous for cloning steep dirt trails.

Sub Standard chain ring

It was perfect when first installed. But after less than 60 miles of riding, it started to jump/skip while on this small chainring. It was weird since jump/skip gear normally happens on the rear cassette if not properly adjusted. To clarify, it jumps on the chainring without changing gear on the front derailleur. I replaced my chains and still the same issue. After removing it and comparing it with the second set of Vuelta chainrings I purchased. There's significant wear on the teeth (soft aluminum was used during manufacturing?). See picture attached, left chainring is defective, the right chainring is the new one. Very disappointed. I contacted Vuelta customer support via phone and email. No response thus far. I guess returning to Amazon for defective parts.

Very slow to ship

Item is fine but it took a supposedly in-stock item 3 weeks to even be shipped.
