Pretty good for the price, included hardware is for wall applications and not for slab mount

Post mounts are pretty good, coating is not very durable, probably hence the price. I had them sit overnight in the rain and some rust came up next day at random spots. Once the roof is up that's not going to be an issue. Consider coating these mounts with motor oil, especially on the inside where treated posts go in. Also, hardware that is included is not for mounting these 4 x 4 post mounts to concrete slab that you walk on. It comes with flimsy sleeve anchors, not wedge anchors that are required for mounting to the slab. However included sleeve anchors will work for mounting a block of wood to the wall, but I would not use included anchors outdoors, not the right finish, definitely not for a damp location long term and definitely not for floor applications. But these are included for some reason, and I cant imagine why someone would want to mount a 4 x 4 post to the wall. So maybe if y'all including hardware, at least include appropriate hardware even if it has inferior quality. Wall application - sleeve anchors to compensate for the hole opening and weight pulling down. Floor application - wedge anchors, secure + holding power against lift. So if you are considering these for mounting posts to concrete that is on the ground, get the right wedge anchors. You can go up to 1/2 inch wedge anchors with factory holes, I would not use anything smaller then 3/8. Going with 3/8 inch anchors will give you more play room if you mess up your holes. with 1/2 inch anchors, it will give you a ton of holding power per anchor, but you will have to be spot on with your hole marks and drilling.

perfect for my concrete mount posts. I did not use the supplied concrete anchors and went with galvinized congrete wedge anchors wich was much superior of an anchor. great value for the money versus simpson strong tie ones that are much more expensive.

Return Policy is Horrendous!

I ordered these and then my husband came home with the exact same ones. So, after just ordering them only 2hrs before, I went to cancel my order only to be told they couldn't, but I could return them after I get them. I thought a bit of a hassle but sure, whatever as I have returned a few things in the past with Amazon. However, this time, I have to pay the shipping and the handling. Product cost $61 and the shipping is $36! Ya, no, I think I'll try to sell them online. Product is fine and sturdy, no complaint there, just make sure you don't have to return these!!!

Very sturdy, little bigger than some.

Very high quality for the price and comes with all the hardware you can ever need, a 4x4 post fits easily so there's about 1/8" gap but when its screwed in there isn't any movement and a shim would fix it if there was any.

This is just a perfect value for money the price for the bracket alone was good but the money you save with the included anchor and hardware make this a steal everything is included your are just missing wood
