Lightweight, Sturdy Placemats

The thinness of these placemats surprised me. They are "quilted" but with with a very, very thin piece of "batting" (not really sure what they used). They won't be able to soak up much fluid so be sure the surface under can tolerate moisture. They are reversible, but it's the same print on both sides. They appear to be well made. The small grid quilting should help it to stand up to frequent use and washing.

Nice cotton placemats

These reversible placemats are a nice addition to my kitchen table. Their neutral colored design basically goes with almost everything. And they can be machine washed and dried.

Bold, If That's What You Want

These place mats appear to be well made. They are on the small side, however, and strangely padded. Their most striking asset is a bold contrast of white and dark blue that I find a bit jarring. It's all a matter of taste, though, and if the pattern appeals to you, then go for it.

Interesting

I wash all my placemats in a washing machine and I line dry them. This typically means I end up with a smaller placemat at some point, but these not only went through the wash, I accidentally tossed them into the dryer too. No shrinkage. None. They came out the same size, not misshapen, not curling weird, none of that. They're nice and thick too, so some of my more fragile pieces have a bit of cushion under them. I'll likely pick up a few more of these in different patterns.

Pretty and soft recycled cotton placemat set

I love the ornate floral pattern of the Java Navy & White set. The recycled cotton is soft, and the mats are thick enough to stay in place on the table. I machine washed them with a load of similar colors and they came out looking like new. They dried quickly on the top of a flat drying rack. I’m more than happy with these placemats and how nice they look on my dinner table.

Another Vera Bradley win

These are gorgeous. Thick quilted placemats. Pattern is the same on both sides in a classic navy and white pattern. Need to iron to press them flat after removing packaging. ???? cotton. Machine washable. (Cat approved ???? -photo of placemat print with Ron trying to check it out as well). Love them!!

Fabulous wherever you place them

Love these placemats. We use them outside on our large table, and when we had eight people visiting, my husband and I got to use these for ourselves. I will mention though, I did not see a different pattern on the back. However, the same pattern looks great and they are perfect for every season.
