Great insulation

This may have been my fault but I didn't realize this was only the top(greenhouse). But it is easy to open and close and the plastic is very thick. Love it

Veg trug covers work on homemade units as well.

I ordered the small and a medium size veggie trig cover from Amazon. Both arrive fairly quickly. My husband built two raised beds for me that were very close to the measurements for these covers. I am super happy with the quality and stability of these covers. The zippers are sturdy, and the Velcro straps inside the cover attached to the braces. We had some pretty strong winds the other night, and both held beautifully. Good quality.

Too hot for plants

While it protects the plants from bugs, it does not let enough circulation of air to the plants, they heat up too much.

DO NOT BUY

This cover does not work at all!!!! Let's insect in and keeps most rain out. It is loose fitting at bottom and any type of insect from wasps to flies can easily get in and ruin your vegetables. Also, because of the material, it keeps over 50% of rain out, so you have to water by hand a lot more than normal. Also, bought the green house cover for fall..maybe I should return that now?

Only the net!

I thought I read this so carefully and it was very misleading! My sister-in-law and I bought 2 for my husband’s birthday during the month before his birthday. Just now finding out that it’s just the net—NOT the base! And now the return window has closed! The base is like $200! I’m so angry because this was a total wast of money!

Be careful, check measurements before buying. If like me you presumed this would fit the vegtrug small wall hugger currently on sale, you will end up having to return it, as it doesnt.

I bought this for someone as a gift. I have not had any feedback from the recipient yet thus the 2 stars otherwise it seems like a great idea to get ahead on planting.

Zipper splits ,two seasons the zipper on green house cover will not work .

After two seasons the zipper won’t work !! Not impressed with this . Unfortunately it’s too late to return . I would like a new zipper . I would sew it in myself So far it’s great , it seems to repels the water though so I do have to open it and water even when we have had lots of rain . The trig doesn’t dry out as quickly , so a plus

Not as advertised

The picture showed a complete mini greenhouse with cover and frame. I only received the cover and frame which is useless without the greenhouse. However I had no problem returning it with a full refund
