Total Difference

As I’m sure you read, some reviews said it doesn’t cover the poo smell and just adds lavender scent but that’s not true. Let’s also be realistic and acknowledge that you aren’t going to find some magic product to just eliminate the smell of dirty diapers. This three pack is definitely worth the $10 though. Sure, when you open your diaper pail you’re still going to get a faint dirty diaper smell, but before I started using these, I was completely holding my breath and walking away from the diaper pail before letting myself inhale again. Now, there is no nauseating scent filling the room and lingering. In my opinion, these are about as magical as possible for eliminating that foul dirty diaper scent. Ours also lasted longer than recommended. I’ve had the same one in my diaper pale for at least six weeks now, but plan to replace it today. Buy them.

Smell nice but wear out quick

The lavender smell is nice and they work effectively for a week or two before they wear out. I went back to using the Ozium ones because they last longer and are more affordable even though I don’t enjoy the smell of them as much. These might be better for lighter applications than a diaper pail.

These help!

They are great as they help the diaper pail not smell horrendous but they can also make the diaper pail stink a little more.

They Help

These definitely help so I don't feel like gagging every time I open the diaper pail. I also deep clean the pail with clorox wipes when it gets bad. Nothing is a perfect solution, but these definitely help. I would recommend them if you're on this page checking them out already. Regular baking soda didn't work as well for me.

Surprisingly effective

The odor from my baby’s diaper pail was starting to make his room smell, despite always having the lid closed. I admit, I was skeptical when I bought this, but was desperate for something that worked. I was pleasantly surprised! It did help with the odor, the only problem is, they don’t seem to lay long.

Better than nothing

This definitely helps reduce the horrid stench of the diaper pail, but it's now more a mix of poo and lavender than just poo. I gave it three stars because I wish it absorbed odor rather than just trying to mask it, however, I haven't found anything better so I keep purchasing and replacing month after month. Careful when removing the foil cover as there's a thin layer of liquid that easily spills out if you don't keep the container level.

Meh

They smell good, but once you put them in the ubbi you don’t smell them and we have truly noticed no reduction in the stink from the diapers.

Works

I have had my Ubbi diaper pale for over a year now and just found out these exist. I have used it for a week and can definitely notice a difference. Doesn't completely eliminate the smell but it does help when opening it.

Does the trick

Since my baby started on solids, her poops have been extra stinky in the Diaper Genie, stinking up her whole room. I read reviews for the Arm & Hammer ones, and most people said they did nothing. These Ubbi gel scent absorbers have a pleasant lavender/minty scent right out of the box. We just dropped an open one in the bottom of the diaper pail and the unpleasant smell from the diapers was instantly neutralized. The room now has a very light pleasant scent. I am sure I'll have to replace them more often than I'd like, but I am glad to have found something that eliminates the stink.

Keeps the nursery smelling fresh

I use these in combination with diaper genie scented bags and you can not smell dirty diapers. Works with my toddlers smelly ???? too.

Smell terrible

These smell like a public rest stop bathroom, worse than the smell of the diapers. Yuck!
