Works wonders, not sure about durability
Years ago I managed to sprain my mid-back, and in hindsight, I don't think I did nearly enough at the time to address the injury. Ever since, I've been prone to back pain, especially around my mid-back area, and especially after periods of prolonged sitting, such as during air travel. I've found myself sitting more recently, due to work and travel, and so have been trying to take steps to prevent and manage any potential back pain. Really just simple, basic things like making sure I've got good lumbar support and proper posture. I decided to try this roller out, and am very glad I did. It's not a silver bullet, but I find that if I roll out my mid-back regularly, especially before and after a flight, back pain or discomfort is kept to a minimum, and sometimes it's non-existent. This roller seems to be just firm enough to really dig into the muscles and work out any knots and areas of tension. I find it most effective when I place it on a hard floor, and lie down on top of it (stomach facing the ceiling) and slowly roll forwards and backwards on it. I tried using this while upright against a wall, but found that I couldn't easily generate enough pressure by pushing myself back onto it. Better when I can lie on it and apply my full body weight. Perhaps a firmer roller would allow you to more effectively use this while still seated. I've noticed that after just a few weeks of usage, it has started to feel slightly lumpy and uneven, which makes me wonder about the durability of this roller. But for now, it works, and it's been a huge help.

I bought two massage balls and put them in a sock.
I bought two separate massage balls instead of the double and put them in a sock. Then I tied the sock up tight. I can roll on that for instant back relief. It is like having an instant "on the go" chiropractic adjustment when I need it. It does not substitute for regular chiropractic adjustments. I use it every morning and night.

Great trigger relief for neck and back
I have two other trigger point balls from this same company, and have liked them. I was looking for something for suboccipital tension, upper trap tension and lower back tightness. This trigger point peanut works really well. I took off a star since there are only two positions (fully open or fully closed). It would have been better to be able to move it along a spectrum of placements for different trigger points or areas of tension.

ONLY 1 COMPLAINT
PRODUCT LOOKS/WORKS AS DESCRIBED. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT ONE BALL IS HEAVIER THAN THE OTHER (WHICH MAY BE EXPLAINED BY THE HEAVY END HAVING THE TOOL TO ADJUST THE NARROW/WIDE SETTING). THIS COULD'VE BEEN EASILY AVOIDED BY A COUNTERBALANCE IN THE OTHER BALL TO EVEN THE WEIGHT DISPERSION. I NOTICED THIS WHILE TRYING TO ADJUST ON MY BACK. I COULDN'T GET IT IN THE RIGHT SPOT (ONE SIDE ALWAYS WAS LOWER THAN THE OTHER). I TRIED PUTTING A SHOE STRING ON THE MIDDLE BAR SO I COULD MANUALLY LOWER IT TO THE RIGHT SPOT IN MY BACK (AS IT WAS HARD TO REACH THAT AREA MYSELF), BUT WHEN I TIED THE SHOE LACE ON, ONE SIDE KEPT PULLING THAT SIDE LOWER (BECAUSE OF THE HEAVIER BALL). THIS COULD BE AN EASY, EASY FIX. PRODUCT JUST NEEDS TO BE BALANCED SO IT IS EVENLY WEIGHTED.

Firm yet gentle pressure in the right spots.
I have 2 thoracic vertebrae that have suspected wedge fractures and some collapsing. This product has given me immediate relief. I will have surgery in a few months but I am so thankful to have found this. I was watching a YouTube video and found this, and the exercises have helped so much. I’m going to bed without pain tonight.

this thing is great i have used it at least 2 times a day since i got it and i dont see that stopping anytime soon it works very well for the lower and upper back for both me and my girlfriend. so far this is one of my favorite massage toys and i have quite a few now i have almost everything triggerpoint makes and for body and its needs at least this MB2 is one of the best tools (if not the best) i have found for my back. thank you for another quality product!

Good option for back but the balls are on the soft side.
Overall, works good to release back stiffness, but cold be improved. The balls are on the soft side so if you use against a wall, in extended mode they will compress also bending the middle bar that then results in an uneven role to one side or the other. In the compressed option is even thought the ball ends a little uneven. Also, leaves marks on the wall which can be wiped off.

Love that it’s extendable- really gets into your back
Love this! Previously we had the non extendable one and it was great but didn’t get into the back like we really needed it to. This is a perfect solution, my only concern is the foam of the ends where our previous one was silicon vs the foam I’m interested to see how the foam holds up over time

Amazing step up from a regular trigger point ball
I love this massage ball! I also have a regular trigger point ball, but this beats it hands-down. The regular ball is always rolling away from where I'm trying to use it, where as this one not only stays put but works both sides of my back/neck at the same time. As such, I have a lot better results with it, in less time - so I'm using it a lot more so it's like a multiplier on how great it is. Highly recommended.
