Great quality, runs kinda small

Bought for my 3yo, bought him a 3T cause that’s the size he just went to, but these are kinda snug around the waist and a little short in the legs so size up! The funny thing is, I also bought some 3T childrens place joggers and those ended up running a little big so I’m so confused on the sizing.
