Disappointed

It technically works, but not without some muscle! It will cut through more pages than the one I used at work prior to ordering this one, but to be honest...this one takes so much effort its really easier to seperate the pages and use the one I already had. My intention was to order one that would cut through contracts that are already stapled together, etc. so I dont have to bother with pulling the staples out and seperating the pages, but its more trouble than its worth. #Disappointed.

works great for hole punches in a bulk of 5/16" sheet of paper. lite office work. been usint it daily for a month works great. I would say medium-heavy duty paper punches. Ponchador muy bueno por el precio, lo uso diariamente por un mes y me ha funcionado bien en grupos de hojas de 0.8 cm, diria que para usarlo en trabajo de abrir agujeros medio-pesado.

Always borrowed - not always returned

I have to chase this around the building to reclaim it often. This is the best paper punch that I have ever owned. It doesn't seem to like small quantities of paper, but when you put in a large stack, it works wonderfully.

Works great for me!

I use this to punch holes in catalogs and small magazines so I can store them in 3 ring binders. It works great for that!

Very dissappointed

Purchased less then 2 years ago, only used MAYBE once a month for a few minutes each time. The actual punch that cuts the holes has collapsed rendering this a two hole punch instead of a three. Replacement punch kit is over half the cost of the entire unit. The plastic discs sound like a great idea but they are always popping out WITH EVERY USE. I contacted swingline directly and told them I couldn't find replacement heads- they said to check my warranty. I didn't say I wanted to make a warranty claim, I just wanted to buy new cutters.

Don't Buy!

This is not a good item. It does not punch 75 sheets, maybe half of that and I have to put my full body weight on it to get the punches to go through. I've had it over a year now. GETTING REPLACEMENT HEADS AND DISCS ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! I even tried the manufacturer. They gave me the part # but couldn't sell it directly to me. They referred me to Staples. I spent half an hour on the phone with a rep trying to track it down and EACH PUNCH PIN COSTS $32!!!!!!!!!. Ridiculous. Save yourself some hassle and buy an electric punch. Costs more but well worth the money.

Design flawed and useablity below expectations

Swingline products usually good. This is a dissapointment. 1. Plastic Stirke plates: Has plastic strike plates to recive cutter and complex rotation device BUT the plastic punch plates come loose with each punch. 2. The paper-in guide have short flange so paper entry over three punches is tedious esp if pages not perfectly flat. 3. The paper edge guide is short, just at maximum hieght so papers can ride over. why would not have made higher than the maximum width with a maximum hieght marker or something?? 4 Lever provides lot of torque but has no natural return action and has to be lifted to disengage papers. 5. very small punch tray. Do you really expect this to be cleared daily? Bunch of small design flaws make a good device much below potential and companies reputation If cannot get plastic plates working will likely return as my staff hate it so far
