Good for outdoor

It's pretty windy at where I live. I love to play badminton but there is no place for me to play. I am very glad that I found this set. This is a really nice set to play with kids. They are light and they are fun. I recommend for everyone.

Fun game with friends and family

Great Product. I was looking for a fun activity to play with my friends in the park and I found it. I'm a beginner badminton player and was grateful for the larger area of the racket. After 10 minutes of practicing, we were able to maintain the birdie in the air and have a good game. Many kids were attracted to our game because the birdie actually whistles when it travels in the air. I used the glow in the dark insert after sunset. Just like the glow in the dark necklaces, I opened these inserts and gave it a good crack-n-shake until I saw the green glow color. The insert fits perfectly into the center of the birdie and stays in place. I also noticed the birdie was a bit heavier and added some weight. Of course you may not notice until you hit it. We were able to make the birdie travel longer distances. We had light breezes during our game and the birdie maintained course when it had the insert. If the insert is removed, then the birdie has a tendency to be affected by the wind. You should also note that when the insert is in, the birdie will not whistle. The rackets are good quality. We had a good grip on the racket and the rackets left no residue. Other rackets shed some of that handle material but I was happy this set maintains its quality. We learned quickly, had good game rounds, and lots of memorable laughs. Overall, I enjoyed this product and recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun and feel accomplished for keeping the birdie in the air for an extended amount of time.

perfect for children or as a starter kit

I enjoy playing badminton with my children but it's difficult to play when it's windy or even when there's a slight breeze in the air. I then found out about Speedminton and it looked interesting and fun so I purchased this FUN Set. It's very light and smaller than a normal Speedminton racket so it's perfect for younger ones as the normal Speedminton racket may be too heavy for them. (see pictures for size comparisons) I do think this is a great value pack as a starter kit who wants to try Speedminton and it's definitely perfect for children. It comes with everything you need to start playing right away. Your family will have fun with this FUN Set (pun intended). For adults and children in high school and older, you probably want to get normal size Speedminton rackets. I hope this helps and if it did, please click on the helpful button below!

The Perfect racket for swimming pool badminton

been searching for a water badminton racket all covid 19 stay at home summer. had to sew alum screenon cheap kids size rackets that rusted and broke. I took at a chance on these they are PERrrrrFect for playing badminton in pool. the birdies that come with them go too far but the traditional birdies work so well. We normally play to 15 points in 10 minutes but the accuracy with these rackets our game lasted over an half an hour. thanks so much speedminton. i am buying a few sets on Amazon for friends and maybe company after the pandemic.

A delightful game

I bought two sets so as to have enough rackets for four players. The game is lively and fun even while young children are growing their skills. We began by hanging a single speeder (birdie) from the ceiling of each of our our garage bays. The kids got practice in methods of using their rackets. The size and sturdiness of the the rackets make for a surprising range of play for all ages.

Like other reviewers I was tired of buying cheaper sets ...

I just received this. Like other reviewers I was tired of buying cheaper sets for play around the pool that rusted and dissolved. I just hit the birdie around by myself this afternoon. Fun. Nice racket in terms of construction, but having a short handle will take some getting used to. I am not sure someone with short arms would like the short handle. On the advice of other shoppers, I bought some extra birdies. Should of went with the variety pack. I selected the night set and they are about 1/2 the size of the nicely sized birdie that comes with this set and they are not splayed. The configuration is more likely a shorter, thinner regular birdie. While expensive I think these will last for years and are worth the investment.

Looks much better in person, fun for the fam

Was afraid this would be a low quality item based on the reviews on here. I needn't have worried. The photos online dont do it justice. The rackets are well made, the paint on them looks better in person than on photos, and the actual badminton shuttles are a blast to play with , wind or no wind. Been having fun with my kids playing on these. NOTE: You may want to think of getting replacement shuttles for when these fly over the fence into your grumpy neighbor's garden. Not every neighbor will give it back to you. LOL. Overall: Buy it! Fun for the whole family.

Should have explained in the details differences between the various types of speeders

I tried it in the wind as the weather was windy all day. So i could test the product in bad conditions as it was said it would resist wind well. But the speeder is a FUN speeder, not the most resistant of speedminton speeders, in fact it was too hard to play with wind, not to say impossible. So after some researches, i purchased CROSS speeders with a windring to resist more. I haven t received it yet. So i can t tell but i m sure it will be pretty good. So it would have been appreciated not to say it would resist wind as it is not the case with what is included in this set. But actually it is a great product. The rackets are sturdy. They are very small in the fun set but nevertheless the speeder goes pretty far. Far enough finally i think to play with my 8 year old daughter. So i can t wait to play again, in good weather conditions with i have now or with my new speeders to come :)

Love, love, love this set!

I purchased the Speedminton set for a family outing and I have to say, it was well worth the money - and so much fun! First, there's no net so you can set your own boundaries. The rackets are lightweight and the design allows you to easily hit the birdie. Whether you play for fun or competitively is up to you but you'll definitely have a lineup of people wanting to play. One small negative was the glow-in-the-dark birdie...you couldn't see it too much in the dark. No worries, you'll have more fun playing with the HELI speeder birdies. If the company is reading this review, I'd recommend getting rid of the glow-in-the-dark birding and provide three HELI speeder birdies. All-in-all, we'll be playing with this set for years to come!
