Great little curling wand!

My children's school had a fundraising gala with an 80's theme and I was determined to have tight voluminous curls for the event! After realizing my 1" curling iron wasn't going to achieve that look, I ordered this, not wanting to spend a lot of money for something I wasn't sure I'd ever use again. My sweet 14 year old daughter spent an hour & a half curling all my long, thick hair and it was so fun! Well, not the curling for her, but the way it looked!! ; ) My hair does not hold curl well at all and it was still super curly the next day. I brushed it out the second day and it looked like a glamourous country singer sort of style, so I got two fun days of hair out of it! You can't change the temperature setting, but it seemed to be a good setting for my hair at least. It was easy to use and I would definitely recommend it if you want tight curls!

No Temp Control

Love love love this curler, only amenity missing is temperature control. Unfortunately this does not allow you to set or turn down the heat. I always use heat protectant and feel like my hair is fine after use, but I definitely hold the barrel to my hair for limited time periods. Leaves beautiful, even curls.

Been using this product for 10 years

I first bought this product from an ulta when I was 18, almost 29 now and just had to replace it because the cord was coming apart and electrical tape was no longer holding it. I LOVE this tool, I’d recommend it to anybody, it’s so easy to use, I’ve used it at least once a week for over 10 years, and it’s worked with various hair lengths (pictured). I love the improvements made since 2012 too, including the addition of the heat protected tip, the included heat-resistant glove is majorly improved (the last one was too itchy to wear), the cord is much sturdier (I bet this one will last at least 20 years, bed head - please never stop making these), and I think it even heats up quicker. Tldr: buy this product, you won’t regret it.

LOVE this thing!

i have very thin flat hair that is naturally wavy but the ugly kind of waves lol this thing makes my waves look amazing and full! i thought not having temp control would be an issue but it hasn't at all. it also comes with the gloves but i never use them and i haven't burnt my hands yet. the ONLY thing that could make this better is if the cord was a tad bit longer.

Nice curler wand

I like it, ir works very well for my hair, it took me somw time to get the trick to this but I finally got it right! Highly recommend this tool!

Great wand

I love this wand! I could never get my hair to hold a curl and this wand does the trick! Easy to use, great quality and the cord doesn’t get jumbled when using. Definitely recommend to beginner hair curlers like myself and also to the ones who can’t get their hair to hold a curl!

Love This

I first purchased one at Ulta when it was on sale and when curling wands were all the rage. Prior to that I used a straightener to curl my hair but learned that the hard pulling of it between the two pieces really hurt your hair. Then I invested in a heat controlled one from $60 from my hair stylist but the clip kept catching my hair. Finally I just wanted a simple wand that did its thing and as for temperature, I'll just keep it on my hair longer or shorter as needed to prevent over damage. I'd say this works the best for me so far at an acceptable price and the glove is great too. My sister loves it too and always borrowed mine. Therefore I bought her one of her own when I moved out.

The curling iron of my dreams!

I have bought 3 curling irons (yes, three) to try, and none of them worked for me. One was with a clamp that was too difficult/complicated for me, the other was a cone-shaped one that made all my hair into super tight curls...but THIS one was really "third times the charm." Yes, the temperature is pre-set, which may not be ideal for those with thinner hair, but I have medium hair that is also slightly coloured, and this is PERFECT for me! I love very loose, natural-looking curls/waves, and this wand provides exactly that. It comes with a protective glove that you can wear while curling, and it's just fantastic for a beginner like me. Absolutely love this wand, and I'm so glad I found it on Amazon.ca!

No me encantó

Me gustó el tiempo de entrega, llegó rápido y en su paquete, también está padre que ya tres el guante para calor y que tiene un plástico para que el ferro no toque directamente las superficies, no me encantó como me dejó el cabello, siento que no marca tanto el chino como otras marcas, como que no sella la cutícula, no sé si es falta de calor o la calidad del metal.

No heat regulator

I got this as a to go curling wand. I am not very experienced so I wanted to get a cheap one. Even tho it is cheaper, it should come with a heat control option, which it does not. I really try to limit the use of heat on my hair and when I do, I don’t want to fry my hair. My hair felt really crispy and dry after one use. My opinion: get a better one, it’s not worth it if you care for you hair
