Works good but needs shorter shaft
Yes it works good but it needs a shorter bolt in order to put the pulley back on a GM power steering pump .You have to install pulley on the power steering pump after it is mounted to engine and you need a shorter shaft/bolt to install. This was for a 2002 monte carlo ss. There is no room to remove the power steering pump without removing the pulley I tried from the top and the bottom you must remove pulley first

Better quality at a reasonable price
I have another cheap version of this set from the chinese tool store and it is nowhere near as good. For the price the quality of this set is nice and if you don't abuse it I think it will last a long time. I made sure to grease the threads and any of the moving parts on the tool before I started, which is important with any kind of tool like this. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are ball bearings in some of the pieces of this tool, so when taking them apart do it over a rag so the ball doesn't escape. They really help to reduce friction, which is helpful when fighting with a power steering pulley that is a tight fit. I used this kit to change the power steering pump on 1994 Ford Explorer. If you take the fan and shroud out (don't forget you need the fan clutch wrench set to do this) there is enough room to use the tool. I had to use two wrenches linked together on the tool to get enough leverage. It's a good arm workout by the time you get the pulley off and then new one back on, but it worked well and I had no problems using it.

Works as intended!
After having having the summer of "everyones power steering pump dying" I finally bought one, it saved me in gas from driving to the parts store about 6 times this past year. Wish they would just include the pulley on the remanned part.

Bummed
The pulled works like a champ have used several times. As for the install. Junk. Used once and the first time just completely stripped out. Been trying to get ahold of gearwrench for a few weeks but I think there website is down and there phones because I can’t through with either

Worked fine pulling a pulley off a GM power steering pump.
Used this tool to pull a pulley off a GM power steering pump and it worked with no problems. Just make sure you put the angled end of the jaws on the pulley.

Perfect
I needed this too ajust my power steering pulley,it was out of alignment.I was skeptical about ordering it with no instructions, but I was sick and tired of my belt chirping, and garage, after garge insisting it was related to the belt tensioner, or the idler pully. After replacing all those parts and a new alt,the chirp disapeared but only for a few weeks, then it came back. So I decided to get the KD 41560,to ajust the power steering pulley. This was my last hope of stopping the chirp. It workded perfectly on my 99 GMC Sonoma. It was tough ajusting with the fan still attached but, it's doable. As far as instructions. If you can't figure it out,you probably shouldn't be working on vehicals. There are only a few parts in the kit, and they work one way.But it would be alittle easyer to include a small manual for novice users, but if I can do it, anyone can.The chirping is gone. KD is a very good, push, pull pulley kit.It held up to the task .Very pleased that I bought this.Coming from someone who hates working on vehicals. A+ KD.

A good tool but could be better with minor changes..
All in all, seems like a good tool but I have a few things I would change myself. This needs an instruction card of some kind included. KD, are you listening? Couldn't cost more than say 50 cents or so for us who aren't mechanics by trade. I'm using this on an 83 Delta, the puller did work well. Two of the center threaded pulling/pushing pieces have ends that will come off, and underneath is a load ball bearing that will fall out and roll away and then you can't use it without another ball bearing, guess how I found that out KD? A warning on the card would be nice. My last observation is the installer tool for GM, the 9/16 or so size used simply is too flimsy, these pulleys are on very tight I know mine was. A standard Snap-On 9/16 wrench is too short, hurts your hands. Why not just make it simple and use 3/4 - 19mm on everything guys? This could be a 5 star tool with minor changes. How about it KD? Up the price a few bucks and make those changes and you have a 5 star tool. 3 star is all I could give it.
