Perfect lightweight quilt for an amazing price

Love this quilt! We hadn’t bought any bedding other than some sheets for our new king size bed, because we were waiting until after we moved and were redecorating our room. But then I realized that what we had going on would look odd in staging pictures to sell our house, and just needed something cheap that looked decent enough. This was a great price, and I actually ended up loving it. A friend who did lifestyle portraits for us saw it and complimented it as well and wanted to know where I got it. It’s super soft, seems well made, the color is pretty and true to the picture, and it’s been washed several times now which has been as easy as regular laundry. It’s also the perfect lightweight comforter for people who like to be covered but can’t stand being hot to sleep. It doesn’t cover our box spring but it does go down the sides of our mattress and keep that covered. That doesn’t matter to me because I cover the box spring with a dust ruffle anyway, but I know some people prefer longer sides on quilts. And seriously...$25 for a king size quilt?! Can’t beat that.

If ordering more than one, beware of dye lot difference

I'd like it a lot better if the dye lot was the same across all quilts. I bought this as a couch protector, so I bought two at first. They looked quite nice on my couch, so I bought two more shortly after of the same color so I would have a set to swap out from when one set gets laundered. The next two were not the exact same color. Where the first two were the exact same chocolate brown, the next two were less brown and more of a reddish brown- and they weren't even the same. The color didn't bother me, but the fact that I now had 4 quilts in 3 different colors when they should have been all the same. At the very least, since I use one on a couch and one on a love seat, if I had two that were the same and other two were same, then it would look ok. If you are just buying one, then know that it might be chocolate brown, or a reddish brown, or somewhere in between. If buying two, know that they might not be same exact color. On the plus side: The quilt washes well, there is some shrinkage but not too bad. It is very light weight and even the King size fit in my washer no problem. It is overall attractive and plenty big enough to cover a bed and pillows.

Perfect for my purpose

This is a lightweight, solid color quilted bed cover. Both sides are the same, a simple diamond style, straight line quilt pattern. I am using it as a backing for my own pieced quilt front. Still have to pin in place, quilt thru premade quilt and create a border. This premade bed cover is finished with a bound edge so my border fabric extended to that edge. Quicker and less expensive than purchasing all the layers. Traditional quilters will cringe at this process, but it worked for me. Just ordered another in a different color and plan to do it all again. I do apologize to those who are traditional quilters. This in no way can compete with their artistry.

Light weight, warm, and a little less durable than I’d like

I have been sleeping with this blanket for about 10 months every night, it is a good blanket except the durability leaves something to be desired, I’ve been noticing that the cotton has started to come out of some of the seams of which there are many. It keeps me warm at night.

Good purchase for price

Almost a year ago I purchased this quilt as a decorative accessory for the foot of my bed but ended up using it every day. Since my two dogs have made a home on my white comforter, this quilt now remains on top of the comforter. It has not ripped even though they crawl and roll on it multiple times a day. I am attaching the picture because the threading is white, and I expected it to be gray. It’s not bad, just something I couldn’t tell from the picture in the advertisement. It it a little thinner than I expected, but for me, it serves its purpose.

This is better than I thought it was going to be for the price. I use it to cover my bedding so when my dog jumps on the bed she doesn't get hair and dirt on the sheets I sleep with. It's not the thickest quilt, but it does a great job of absorbing the dirt and mud she tracks in without letting it through to my sheets. I don't think this would fit a king as it barely covers my queen (with not nearly as much excess on the sides as the picture suggests). The color is true to the photograph and it is holding up well to repeated washing and drying. I'm glad I got it.

For the price you pay it's pretty good.

I was looking for a king size comforter that was fairly thin and not hot. This gets the job done. For the price you pay it's pretty good. It's not super warm, but it's substantial for a thin comforter. If you're looking for something thick and warm, this probably isn't what you're looking for. It is slightly rough when you first get it but it gets softer as you wash it. On my king size bed I lay it horizontally and it fits fine. Sure it's not super oversized, but it gets the job done. Perfect for Houston weather. For the price I don't see how you can complain.

very light weight and thin

this is really nice looking and it feels wonderful... the problem is that it is very very light weight and thin. if you want something just for looks this is perfect, if you want something to keep you warm... not so much. Wind/air blows right through it no problem, cover your face with it and you will have no problem breathing through it. im not sure what they use for the insert but if i had to guess its a very thin foam pad. Now it looks really nice and its super soft and feels great so like i said above if you want something for looks this is just fine. If you just need a throw cover to wrap up in on the couch this should be fine as well. If you live in warmer areas that dont really get all that cold this would be fine as well. BUT if you want it for warmth this will not work for you.

Sizing not accurate

The product itself is good, but the sizing doesn't work with the bed description. I have a full bed and ordered a full/queen size. The width works with the size of the bed, the length does not. It doesn't cover both the foot of the bed or the head of the bed. Disappointed as I was expecting to have material to work with since it says it fits a queen and I have a size smaller.

Very good buy as a light bedspread that is easily cared for

This quilt is fine for my son's bed. He wanted something in blue to replace an older one. The older one was heavy and needed dry cleaning. This one is light and can be easily washed.

Great bedspread, warm and light.

Very light bedspread, very comfortable, soft to the touch. It is very warm, you would think that you had a heavy comforter on the bed because of how warm it keeps you. I would recommend this bedspread to anyone who likes to be warm but did not like the heaviness if blankets.
