Cold Steel “City Stick” great replacement end caps for the originally supplied stick end cap

These “SoftTouch” chair tips are a superb replacement for the Cold Steel supplied original tip. My “Cold Steel City Stick” is a very good product for aiding balance and mobility. It’s very strong and has multiple uses. The original tips were hard plastic providing little staff protection or traction. These “SoftTouch Chair Tips” 5/8 inch are a great fit and secure excellently to my “City Stick”. Dimensions of these tips are approximately 5/8” (16mm) inner diameter, 1 1/8” (28.5mm) 15/16” height, or top to bottom, with a footprint of 15/16” (24mm). They’re made of a firm, smooth surfaced, durable, black colored rubber with a texture that provides protection as well as traction. Highly recommended, especially at the offered price point. Hopefully this info helps you in deciding if they’re valuable for your purposes.

I used these leg tips as feet on a three-legged music stand

I bought my daughter an expensive music stand for home for her middle school french horn practice. I had dreams of raising a musical prodigy, I guess, lol. Anyway, she has now finished her junior year, and the stand hasn't been used in probably 3 years. So I took the music stand back to convert it into a photography lighting stand for my studio lights. She lost one of the original rubber feet to the stand, so I bought these as replacements. The tubing for the legs of the stand was exactly 5/8" inches in diameter and these leg tips fit exactly. It was a tight fit, but they slid all the way on and the grip is very secure. I'm sure I will not lose these rubber tips on the legs. Exactly what I need it for, now they legs won't scratch up the floor and since the feet are non-marking, no black marks on the hardwood either!

Does the job.

Had some folding camp chairs that were missing caps on the bottom of the legs. These were perfect replacements. Low cost, slip right on.... perfect!

Worked for my needs

I got these to put on the legs of a garment rack that came with wheels that I didn't want to use and these tips were a perfect fit. They are kind of smelly when you first open them. Hope that smell goes away.

Not actually Black. Appearance does not match description.

These items are not appropriate for standard furniture use, if you are looking for a 'black' product. They are off black, and appear to be rubber from the 70s. I attached a photo showing the true color of the product. You will see the 4 legs tips on the outside and, in the middle, attached to my coffee table, is from a second set that bought from a local hardward store. These are only good for industrial setting, outdoors, or if your furniture appears very worn.

Put them on all your chairs

Fits perfectly in my thin-legged chairs. Intially you might find it hard to slide the chairs, but you will get used to the bit of resistance the rubber adds. The only complaint is the rubber smell when it first arrived. I soaked the product in vinegar then baking soda. Another minor issue is that the color is pure black, it is got a gray-ish tint to it, probably due to the make. If you are extremely meticulous about how your house looks, it may not be for you. I got over it after few days and barely even notice now.

Good value

I ordered these for a vintage MCM chair with metal legs that were missing one of the original caps. They are not at all the same, but are definitely better quality, and softer on the floor. They are rubber so they aren't shiny black, more like a dusty dark grey... typical black rubber. This is something I was not expecting since it was not photographed properly. Otherwise, I am pleased; I'm sure they will hold up well.

sturdy/durable

Strong rubber, good height and grip around the chair leg so it wont come off. Only small issue is that because its all rubber the chair dont slide out BUT I (you) can put those felt pads at bottom and problem solved.

This rubber leg tips were exactly what I expected
