Best pomade I've ever used

Pros: - Holds my hair in shape without feeling heavy. - Washes out with warm water quickly. - Stays wet for about 5 minutes and then dries pretty firm. Not crunchy-hard like gel, but pretty firm. - You can reshape/style your hair after it sets with just a little bit of water, although, it won't hold as well after a reshape. Use as little water as possible to reshape. Cons: - If your touch your hair too much, pull a shirt over your head, or get some windy conditions, it will break down. - Takes quite a bit of the product to lock my hair into place. - Expensive. Neutral: - You may or may not like the scent. It reminds me of cream soda which isn't too bad for me, but others may not like that. It's the only scent available.

Favorite product!

We have been buying this product for years. When our original stylist stopped carrying it, we had to order it online. During COVID it was hard to order directly from Layrite, but we can order directly from them through Amazon. Still a win for us. :) My boys like it because it washes out easily, it warms quickly between hands to help control how much/little is used and a little bit can go a long way. I only order this every 4-5 months for my teens but my husband does go through his a little faster.

Best hair product I've ever used

I'm a dude with short to medium length hair. I appreciate that I can style my hair so naturally. It doesn't harden and stays shapeable. I often go quite a while without washing my hair and found I can leave it in and use this day after day—just add water to restyle. It has a nice clean smell.

I have fine hair and this product gives great shine for formal events. I use the blue cement one for everyday use

The best pomade I've used (thick wavy hair)

I comb my hair when I go into the office, but its hard for me to find pomade that actually looks ok in my thick wavy hair. I even tried this brands superhold pomade because usally the strongest hold works the best for me. This holds and looks the best, and has the added benefit of washing out easier than any other pomade ive used regularly in the past. I'll be using this exclusively from now on.

The best hair product on the market

This stuff is fantastic .. I wish I had discovered it years ago! Definitely the best product I have ever used (I'm on my second tub!) It lasts for ages (as you don't need much) And to restyle in the morning, its a breeze (that can't be underestimated!) And it washes out really quickly and easily. I did LOADS of research before buying this .. so ignore all those 'influencers' who push random products for revenue .. I'm not getting paid for this review, it is honestly just a great product .. buy some, you won't regret it!

Good but not for me

I think this is a good product. It gives a good hold, is relatively easy to apply and leaves hair feeling and looking quite natural. Hair is also easily reworkable. I find I have to apply quite a lot to get the desired hold so I will be looking for another product, but my hair is very thick and I think that is the problem.

Love this stuff.

I have been using Layrite for 11 years and it's still one of the best products I've used. It smells great, doesn't clump your hair and hold pretty well. Just don't get your head wet because it does pretty much dissolve in water.
