GLow paint is always fun
This is a nice large bottle, which you don't usually find for a good price. I tried a small amount on a handle, and it works as expected. I did paint two layers to be sure. It definitely glows in UV light and briefly when submitted to a bright light source and then viewed in the dark. I use glow paint exclusively for UVA light at 385nm, for special projects and Halloween decor/outdoor. I am sure this will work best with 2-3 coats for a uniform glow on most paintable surfaces. Since this is a larger bottle it should last for many projects, and I hope it will retain permanence and glow over time.

It’s almost translucent
I did glow in white paint it’s not this paint. The little squirts of white runny looking paint on the background is this paint. I tried to paint something on a black piece of paper with this paint and it took 4 coats for it to finally not be so see through. Really aggravating and not what I had in mind

It definitely works! Maybe wouldn't call it acrylic paint though!
I ordered this for a Halloween costume and other general art uses- and it definitely works! As long as you let the paint dry as recommended and let it charge in the sun or bright light it'll glow. 2-3 coats may be needed, but thats pretty standard for most paints. It dries well also! I was worried that the paint would dry and turn my fabric a much lighter color, but it didn't! My only real complaints are that it's marketed as acrylic paint, when it has more of a smell and consistency to glue. When I opened the bottle it smelt like mod podge, when I poured some onto a pallete it was like squeezing a glue bottle, it dries with a very light opacity like glue, and if you put it on a smooth surface it peels off like glue (this is coming from someone who works with acrylics regularly btw). I'm not overly upset about this, I just think the way its marketed could be a bit better!

DID NOT Glow in the Dark!
If there are some special instructions then it should be written on the bottle. There is nothing written there to tell you how to use it. I painted a NEUTRAL Glow in the Dark Paint over a light brown wooden buttons on a clock face that I want to read in the dark I painted them a few hours before turning all the lights off for the night. I could not see ANY GLOW whatsoever from the paint. I guess I should send it back.

You have to let the sun charge it or a uv light. I customized my son shoes for his birthday and it was an anime theme Demon slayer. I really recommend you buy it you don't need alot of coats you can do 1 or 2 and when it fully dries add your finisher so it can protect them I need to buy a few more trust me get it.

not glow much till charge
it didnt glow well at first when i tested it the bottle but once i charged for like... 3-4 hours it glowed better. but i wanted brighter. so i placed it at the back window near sunset and the fron window near sunrise. it glowed alot better but im not sure about on the clothes yet.....

Doesn't work on outside ornaments
Bought for outdoors. Does not work, but my fingers glow in the darkness of my room at night ????

Excellent Product & Easy to Use
I used this product on a pair of running shoes I had painted, to add some glow in the dark polka dots. It was very easy to use, however, it did take a good 5 coats in order to get a good base for the UV light to absorb into. After letting the paint sit under a bright LED lamp, the polka dots on the shoes were very bright in a dark room. FolkArt has been around for a very long time, & this product did exactly what it said it would. I highly recommend using it for anything you need to glow in the dark.
