These are great to use in a classroom setting
These are great to use in a classroom setting, it is too time-consuming to use tubes or dry watercolors when teaching multiple classes. I wish it came in primary colors, I don't really need 'coral' or 'blue-green, or crimson. It would be great to have a set of r-o-y-b-g-p, with a brown and a black... Several bottle had leaked in shipping, but I will keep them.

Are any liquid watercolors truly liquid anymore?
I’ve been buying sets of student grade liquid watercolors looking for a dye-based liquid watercolor to use in brush pens and to put in spray bottles to make spray ink. If you are thinking this is a good idea too, look elsewhere. These are syrupy, thick and viscous. They are not truly liquid like ink and don’t really work in water brushes. When you push to get ink out it bubbles and globs out. They also don’t work in spray bottles and just come out in blobs. I can only assume companies started adding gum Arabic (corn starch? Glycerine?) to the liquid watercolors because they were spilling during shipping. And as for the brightness, some are definitely better than others. Even laying down a layer of completely non-watered down paint (in my swatch you can see the color “coral”) it looks patchy and doesn’t make a nice even coat of color. The gum arabic thickener makes them look even more dull when they dry. If you want muted pastels this works a bit better because the water dilutes the syrup and spreads the color a bit better. This is the second company I’ve bought liquid watercolors from that has not worked for me because of the addition of this goopy, syrupy filler they’ve added that absolutely ruins the fun of pigmented, watery colors that run together on paper. In my swatch sheet you can see the 8 colors I got. This seems to be a set of secondary colors (which would have been nice to know.) Coral, yellow-orange, yellow-green, blue-green, blue-violet, red-violet, pink and fuchsia. To get these swatches I put a thick dot brushing of paint. To the right of these swatches I put smaller dots of the mermaid markers I am trying to match. I’m not even mad at the color selection, just the consistency! I’d say manage your expectations HEAVILY. These have a purpose and it’s mainly for small children who don’t mind painting with colored syrup.

Arrived Broken, Leaking, and Tertiary colors
The paint bottles were shipped in nothing but a box...no padding or extra packaging...so 2 of the bottles arrived with broken caps, and one leaked. I didn't realize the colors would be tertiary colors, or other random colors, when what I needed were primary and secondary colors.

Colors leaked during shipping
These are fabulous, however, they leaked during shipping. 4 or 5 of these leaked during shipping... only one color seeped through the box slightly, but when I opened them up all the bottles were pretty well spattered with color. I went through about 20 wet paper towels cleaning up the bottles while unpacking. I think I lost about an ounce of the yellow orange, and blue green colors as well as a fair amount of purple. It's not worth returning or exchanging since there is still a lot of color, but it was a bit annoying. I know this sounds like a negative review, but it's a negative review for the shipping, not for the product itself. The product itself is wonderful and will get lots of use.

Awesome product
I love these liquid watercolors. I do wish the flip top caps were somehow different, to help decrease or eliminate spattering that inevitably happens. But, other than that, we LOVE using these. Much more vivid color than regular watercolor paints. We use them to color cornstarch and water, which we use on the driveway and call sidewalk paint. :)

I used it at my preschool and the children liked the bright colors and started painting rainbows. It didn't stain and was easy to wash off. It was also great to pour into containers and wasn't too runny, eg like water. Thanks for a great product.

Awesome colours and concentrations!
This was factory what we were needing for a project we were working on. Could go lighter or darker by just adding more or less to a cup of water. Consistent colour. And the concentrated colour makes it last a long time. Love these!
