Very reliable tool! Don’t cheap out on punch down tools.

Reliable product! Klein tools at it as always. Had my fair share of cheap punch down tools and once I got this one i felt like an idiot for making my life so miserable when I was using the cheap ones. Messed up a keystone jack one time with it but it was my mistake. Had the sharp end on the inside instead of the outside. Was a good opportunity to test the hooking tools and they worked great. If this is something you do very often or professionally, buy this one (or the Fluke punch down tool if you got money like that) Will recommend 100%

Decent tool for a decent price.

Works as expected except for one thing... The blade holder in the back doesn't really retain the blade very well. If you drop the tool, the blade may slide out of the storage area. I've had (and lost) several other brands through the years, and this is the first that didn't really hold the blade in storage. I guess this is what we get for the lower price, these tools used to be over 2x to 3x as much just a few years ago. Only other thing I wish was a lower power impact, punching wall jacks could use a slightly lower impact. I have never needed to use the high impact for anything in the last 30 years. Maybe I need to change the spring inside.

A great no-nonsense quality tool!

After my older Klein punch down tool was stolen, I had to buy another one. The older one was about at least 5yr old, worked perfect. But then all my Klein tools do, and I am super thankful for that. I appreciate a well designed, well executed tool that make my job easier. It’s nice to know that it will always do the job. I use it for a Cat 5e and Cat 6 keystones installs. Makes it very easy and predictable- a well appreciated quality. If you are in this line of work, you will appreciate the tool. It will last as long as your carrier probably. Highly recommended is an understatement.
