Great for car trips

This lap desk is cute and great for car trips. I lime that underneath it has storage for coloring books and crayons or whatever. The one downside, and it was minor, is that it not as sturdy as I thought it would be. The “desk” part is foam padding, which held up fine for our car trip. I guess I was thinking it would be more of a soft plastic. Anyway, it’s worn that money and my daughter loved having her own “desk” in the backseat.

Photo is misleading

I generally like products from this brand, however I would skip this. If you’re truly looking for a “table” or a steady surface for traveling, this is not it. It is compact and comes with removable nets for the sides to keep toys, art supplies or snacks, but it becomes heavy and bulky. Putting the table over the car seat is clumsy and cumbersome especially if the pockets are full. The table is a flimsy piece of plastic that has a fold in the center, and while it does have a drink holder in the corner, anything is much too heavy to make it useful. Liquids will spill.

Love it!

My daughter loves this gray. My only complaint is that there isn’t a way to secure the flaps on the side when not using them.

Not super sturdy.

The middle “tray” consists of 2 separate thin plastic pieces held up by a thin foam like stuffing. It will not be sturdy for coloring or food, but it keeps the toys from falling to the floor. I guess it’s okay, but for the price I expected more. Do I hate it? No… would I buy again? No…

Super cute but flimsy

Love how it looks and my 6 yo was very excited! Lots of storage for during use but I don’t see how to keep it from being so flimsy when we need it to be sturdy on her lap. It works well for her to color or something but is not a decent hard surface. It comes with these plastic Inserts to make it sturdy but it just doesn’t do the job if you needed to actually write well. Worth the price though I suppose. Haven’t used as tablet holder yet but seems cool, I like this feature

It’s cute, easy to assemble, not very sturdy…

I would recommend it if you’re into the art style and don’t want something that “looks boring” but if you’re looking for long term use and durability then this isn’t the one. We only needed it for one long road trip and it worked well for that. We still have it and it’s a cute little addition to the art center in our house but it’s a tad flimsy so you kind of need a surface UNDER the surface… only buy if you love it. I love it, personally, so I make it work for my girlie.
