Easy to install - LED is good, but dim

I just installed and tested it. When the breakaway switch is pulled, brakes drew 9AMPs of power at 12v for 2 wheels. The only issue is that LED is dim - would be hard to see in bright light. I also wish there was a inbuilt switch to turn it off if it misbehaves or breakaway gets lost..

Smaller, more compact than others. Big plus!

I used this switch when setting up a car to be towed. It was needed as a breakaway switch for the supplemental braking system on the car (a BrakeBuddy). Many of the switches are much larger and protrude out of the front of the car when not towing and look ugly. This is a smaller form, so it makes for a nicer installation. They all work the same, so there is no downside to being smaller...only an upside.

perfect breakaway for a Hoppy and CM trailer

Perfect replacement/upgrade for our CM trailer, The old one had a Hoppy switch. I hope the nylon plastic holds up well in AZ sunlight and heat. This had 3 wires for the LED indicator. It was a easy switch with the directions from our 2 wire box.

Having the red LED is a plus. Used this to replace an older unit without an indication of power flowing.

my old one rusted out and this installed just fine. with this one you need to have polarity correct, but that is easy to do.
