Great for getting pet hair off the furniture. Only OK for stairs.

Make sure you have the correct vacuum to use this. I have a ONEPWR Blade vacuum and it worked great. This works awesome to remove pet hair off the furniture. I tried it on the stairs and while it works, the plastic guard seems to get in the way sometimes so I have to reposition it. Compared to the other stick vac attachments that I tried for this purpose, this worked the best. Just to be clear, I'm also quite happy with my ONEPWR vacuum compared to the random stick vacs that are on sale here at Amazon. The large motorized brush that came with my ONEPWR vacuum was too big to easily vacuum the furniture, but this was just perfect.
