Does the job! Doesn't hurt my hand!

This thing cuts like a dream! Punches those circles out with minimal effort, so it doesn't agitate my hand or wrist. I was even able to get through 3 pages of 28 lb paper, though it's harder to line things up that way. The thing that makes this punch so much better than others, in my opinion, is that you can SEE what you're punching. There's a HOLE instead of trying to line things up and guessing, you can SEE where it's going to cut. It's perfect if you're making pins!

Perfect

This tool is perfect for me to cut out 1 inch circles to make my custom badge reels! Cuts my time down tremendously as well as cuts a perfect circle ever time! Plus with it being open it's super easy and convenient ti see exactly where I'm wanting to cut.

Seems very durable

It's a little tight getting the paper in (although that could be a good thing). The handles stick when you squeeze them together to make the cut which is no big deal. They make perfect cuts without any fraying. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Throat too short

I am using it to cut out circular tokens and aligning the token in the center is important. The biggest issue I have is that the distance between the handle and the cutter, about 1/8", is so short that you have to be careful when cutting around the hole you want to punch.

Nice, but only for thin material

Read down, and it says 65# card stock limit.....it will just barely do a business card, which is in that range....and the plastic handles flex quite a bit. I gave this 4 stars, because it does do everything it should, but with regular printer paper. I bought this hoping I could punch laminated paper....not heavy laminate, but laminated.....nope. It will punch though regular paper, and maybe construction type....but will not punch through thin laminated paper or moderate card stock.....basically, the gap you feed the paper in is much much wider than the items ability. As long as it's less than a thin business card, it will do fine.

I wanted to cut round edible images down to a smaller size and wanted a nice neat circle rather than a jagged circle if I were to cut them with scissors - plus I had lots to cut so wanted a quick way of cutting them. I chose to buy this type of cutter as I would be able to see the circle that I was cutting so it would make it more accurate (I had seen another 1-inch cutter, but after reading the reviews of that one, you don't exactly see what it's going to cut). I was a bit worried about whether it would arrive in time as I saw it would be sent from America, but it did arrive and it worked perfectly so I was very pleased. Rather than cutting paper/card, I used this to cut through the edible image which was on a sort of plastic backing paper, and it cut through it well.
