Very easy to use and works great
This product worked great. First thing to note. When putting up drywall. Attach the top. Then locate and cut holes. Then screw down rest of drywall. Reason is that outlet boxes extend out to be flush with drywall finish. I would hate to think how much more difficult this job would have been without this. I had 18 boxes to cut out.

Precise single gang box locater
I gave this 5 stars because it performed exactly as advertised. You must read the directions! Obviously these are for new construction without the receptacle or switch. The wire needs to be neatly tucked back into the box, a good electrician does this anyway. I used adjustable blue boxes which made the installation easier because the sheet rock lays flat on top of the gang box after the cut is made the box can be made to match the thickness of the drywall.

Super handy
Just recently got to use these finally, worked surprisingly well, I ended up adding 5 new outlet boxes to my garage and in tandem use with an adjustable electrical box, this makes cutting out the opening for said boxes a breeze, I did mess up on one of my boxes and cut it out a little caddywompus however I think that was user error in that I didnt feel around to make sure the locator was perfectly over the piece inside the electrical box. This just saved me so much time from having to pull down the plywood and make a ton of measurements, I get that this isnt a hard process if you do this day in day out, but I am just a professional homeowner, anything to make my job easier and more accurate is something im going to leap at and im glad I ended up getting this set as it did just that. 5/5

Wish I had bought sooner
I have done at least 200 holes with these & they have not failed on me yet. Saves tons of time. I have my electrical sub install blue adjustable boxes & these work great with them. Just a quick note. They do need to be jiggled around a bit to find exact center of magnets, but you will get the feel for it. Works good for 1/2 & 5/8 Rock as well as 1/4 paneling. If these broke tomorrow I would buy another instantly.

Insert snap ends into screw holes compressing the snaps inward as necessary - easy to locate boxes
The instructions just tell you to insert the target, but it would have been helpful to point out the wire snaps on the target compress in and go into its plastic case and that the ends of the snaps go into the screw holes of the box. It would not have hurt to have precise instructions. The snaps are large so one might think they snap over the edge of the box, and the fact the snaps compress into the target has to be learned/experienced. Photos have their finger and thumb over the snaps and screw holes. So add "Insert snap ends into box screw holes compressing the snaps inward as necessary." Other than that they work great. In the past I was real good with making such holes without it, but this is a time saver. I also bought their Multi-Mark, which has more precise instructions for the same process - " Place the Multi-Mark target in the electrical box inserting the ends of the springs into the device location holes." That is better (but I still like mine suggestion).So I guess they realized the instructions were not clear (when the bought BlindMark) and corrected it in that product and I assume it will be done for this one too. But no big deal for you as you read this beforehand! Their other product, Multi-Mark, has a locator that works for octagon light boxes and regular boxes (got it "Multi") and comes with two targets. When you buy these products think about how many cuts in one piece of wallboard etc you would have to make at one time, thus determine how many targets you need for one wallboard etc. For example, in one wallboard I had two electrical boxes and one network drop box. Another had two electrical boxes and one switch box. So in my case I needed at least three targets to be behind the wallboard at a time. If one was multi-gang box, I would have needed four targets (two for the multi-gang). So this product was perfect. I wanted the octagon locator too for all the ceiling lights I was installing so I needed the Multi-Mark too. So I may have had two more targets, but I could then use them for the next wallboard over so I can cut the holes in two wallboard at a time if I wanted to. You get three targets and one locator in this kit in a nice case. The magnets are VERY strong and they give pacemaker and credit card warnings. I most cases this is all you need for a one wallboard section. THEY HAVE VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE. SEARCH FOR BLIND MARK.

Helpful tool for drywall.
This such a helpful tool to cut out electrical box outline holes. The magnetic is super strong so it's easy to find the other side.

Could easily be improved!
Works well, however is designed for non metal electrical boxes, i suggest for the manufacturer to introduce a Combo version or at least some sort of marking to guide the size to acomodate metallic boxes, I improvised the short coming with a marker but it should not be so.

Great kit, works impressively if used with care.
I just used it to drywall my friend's basement and we are both impressed. I am a general contractor but I'm not drywalling everyday and I am not a big fan of Rotozip as they make a lot of dust, can cut through vapour barrier and risky for novice. I think this kit is a great tool for professional and occasional DIY'ers alike. It definitely makes life easier but I would suggest taking quick rough measurements and marking them on the drywall before you use this kit and start cutting because its always good to check your work in multiple ways to narrow down margin of error. This is a great kit that can speed things up but it definitely helps to be careful. I recommend taking the approach of using this kit for a better visual and to verify your rough measurements before cutting. I also started by cutting the hole much smaller than the outline at first and then cut outwards carefully to avoid over cutting and that helped me avoid error.

So easy!
Fantastic! This made box cutouts on drywall and OSB a snap. As others have noted, the traced box tends to be a bit big (see photo), but still easily covered by the outlet cover and easy to adjust for further cutouts. Line up the magnets, double check that both sets of magnets have engaged, trace, and cut. No more measuring and fiddling. Perfect for the weekend reno-warrior like me.

Almost perfect
I used this item for a basement renovation. It's a great product, but there are 2 issues with it that prevent me from giving it full marks. I think another buyer mentioned the first big issue is that the box template seems 1/2 inch bigger along the bottom of the electrical box if you cut out the template. I learned to cut the bottom shorter to get a perfect fit. The second problem is you can't use this item with full outlets. You have to take out the outlet first before using this tool which doesn't make it as useful for jobs that have electrical already completed.
