Helps with "cotton mouth"
I learned that my prescription meds were causing me to have extremely dry mouth that was uncomfortable and affected my speech. I tried ice chips, but they did not work. I tried other less expensive brands of gum with Xylitol, but their taste and longevity left much to be desired. I tried ACT moisturizing gum and had no problem with the taste. This gum does moisturize. However my episodes of dry mouth last longer than this moisturizing gum lasts. So I look for special pricing, and stock up.

Works like a dream
I suffer from extreme dry mouth.. This is the third thing I have tried.. I keep water by my bed all the time.. I thought why not try it out.. This gum makes the juices flow quick.. I have a hard time at night trying to keep my mouth wet.. So instead of just reaching for water that won't work.. I reach for this gum.. Within a minute or two my mouth feels better.. When I do go back to sleep I will let the gum sit between my gums and cheek or on the roof of my mouth when I need it I chew a couple of times and all better..

BEST gum for dry mouth
I get dry mouth from medication and I can't stress how much I love this gum. It tastes great and the flavor lasts a good while. Xylitol helps keep your mouth moist and is highly recommended by dental professionals to help reduce cavities (dry mouth = cavities).

Pür Gum is better
I thought that the effect would be more noticable since it cost so freakin much money but it was no better than the Pür Gum that I was using. I was recently diagnosed with Sjogrens so the dryness of my mouth is a concern for long term dental health. I used to sell the Pür brand and therefore knew that it contains xylitol that is the main ingredient for moisturizing and lubricating the mouth. My primary objection to the Act gum is the price, Pür is much, much less expensive so the choice is simple between the two.

Good but expensive.
Theses work very well for Xerostomia ( chronic dry mouth) . I sometimes just keep the gum side of my cheek and gum, it helps for a good 10 km run also..
