So warm!

This blanket is so warm! I love you can still me mobile while wearing it. It didn’t seem to hold a charge real long but it lasted long enough. That could have been because of the setting I chose. It is also so soft!

NOT PORTABLE

I’m very disappointed with how this is advertised. IT IS NOT PORTABLE! IT MUST BE PLUGGED IN TO THE WALL OR CAR TO USE IT. You can by a battery cell and an adapter and THEN use it as a portable blanket . But it does not come with the battery pack and adapter. Even though it’s advertised as portable. I even asked this question in the question section at which I was lied to and it said one was included. It absolutely does not come with one. The blanket is warm and comfortable and a good idea but very disappointed it not portable which is why I bought it. Will be returning.

great for road trips

We have other heated throws, but they only operate using wall plugs. I wanted one for the backseat using the 12V DC adapter so the kiddies can keep warm. I especially wanted to have one for after outdoor winter activities. The material is soft and warm on its own - my eldest has used it a couple of times without plugging it in. I really like how it can be folded back into a pillow shape, although that takes a bit of effort. I think there's confusion about the product listing - I think there's a model that can be used with a portable battery power bank. The one I have is a plug in (grey) - either to wall outlet 120V AC or car outlet 12V DC. But they have another one that is also called 'grey' but can use the power bank. Think they need to clarify exactly what you're getting when selecting an option.

Wanted to love it but doesn't quite work

This is a super soft blanket with a lot of potential. I love the idea of a portable heated blanket. The execution didn't quite work the way I thought. You have a battery pack that powers the blanket that you plug into the blanket and put in the pocket. The pack is bulky and takes away from the comfort of the blanket even when you are using it at home. I wish this was just a blanket but it also tries to be a poncho/jacket too and kind of fails at being either. The armholes and buttons are annoying when trying to use as a lap blanket and don't quite work as a jacket. You can also zip it together so it becomes a heated pillow. Another cool idea that doesn't work because when unzipped the zipper is ugly and messes with the comfort of the blanket. The material is super soft though and the on/off button is cool and well-designed. My expectations might have been too high for this one. There really is nothing wrong with the construction or functionality. It just tries to do too many things and so is mediocre in all of them.

Not exactly portable, but as cozy as you'd imagine

I didn't think it through when ordering this--the fact that it doesn't come with a portable battery pack for outdoor use. I was thinking it would be nice to use for attending cold weather high school football games. So after searching Amazon for what would be needed to make it portable, it seems to me (and I could be wrong) that you'd need a USB to DC power cord in order to use a power bank, which equates to 2 more expenses. Bummer. And I wouldn't even know whether that works until after I purchase--a total gamble. Well, it provides warmth while sitting near a DC outlet, anyway. I think where this would come in handiest is on trips, plugged into the cig lighter. For the passenger, of course, as the heat might put the driver to sleep! I don't feel much difference between highest and lowest setting, I have to say but, in either case, it's plenty for indoors. It feels uncomfortable snapped up on this larger person. I'd say this is for an average or small person if you plan to 'wear' it. It's kind of heavy, but the fabric is heavenly! SO soft on both sides. I'm going to gift it to a small elderly woman who I think will love it.

It'll keep you warm

"Wearing" this is a little awkward, but that's to be expected since they had to design it to be a one size fits all item. That said, it's incredibly soft on the inside and the outside. I appreciate that it has pockets, and that the power cord connection is discreetly hidden in one of them. It heats up quickly, and once you figure out how to best put it on and snap it up, it'll do what it says. As a blanket the arm holes tend to be annoying places that my hands, feet, or cell phone seem to find without meaning to. I didn't order it to use as a blanket though, so that won't be a problem for me. It's nice that the seller includes a car lighter cord along with the traditional wall plug. Also, being able to zip it up into pillow form for use or storage is a nice touch on the manufacturer's part. All in all I like it for what it is, and I don't think it's unreasonably priced. It would be better if it were rechargeable though. Then it would make more sense to say it could be used outdoors, or to have a photo in the ad of a woman standing in the snow wearing it because that makes it look like it already is.

Perfect for traveling

I had actually ordered this to take to my grandson's soccer and baseball games, but then received it and realized that it must be plugged in to a cigarette lighter or outlet in order to work. No worries. With it's compact size (it folds up and zips in to a pillow), I have been packing it in to my suitcase when I travel, as I like my hotel rooms to be cold, but then hate to use the thin, scratchy, hotel blankets to relax and watch TV or work when I'm in my room. This is perfect for my needs. It would also be perfect for sitting outside on a cold day, as long as you are withing close proximity to an outlet or extension cord, or just for lounging around the house on a cold morning. It's extremely soft and no smell upon arrival. As stated, while it didn't suit my initial intent, I've found many additional uses, so it's still a great find!
