Not a lot of airflow but easy to install

They look ok and are easy to install but if you need airflow, look elsewhere. They do have slots but not very big. 7 inches long and 1/8 in wide.

Perfect replacement for the cheap gable vents the builders install

Perfect replacement for the cheap gable vents the builders install. I had to cut it down around the edges and sand a little to fit into our brick home. Very easy to cut or sand by hand or with a jig saw. I used a router bit on a bench drill. It cuts/feels like a thick foam board. Looks great!

They're just ok. I bought 3 for my home and one was broken in the box. I had to glue it back together.

Easy to install and paint

Added to new construction to break up a plain eave. It was easy to install and paint.

It’s a real vent

This is a functional vent. However, I suggest installing screen on the inside as I did to keep the bugs out.

Not ideal for siding

It is what it is...I wanted a non functional vent...but this unit does not have the ability to keep water out as it has no inside flanges ...so you would have to glue it to your siding? not worth it

I didn't realize what the 2 1/8"P specification referred to until I received the unit. This is the pitch, or in other words, the spacing of the horizontal slats. This is a good unit and great value if you can buy it on sale.
