Don't use these if you ride down hill

I put these on MT6 brakes and Storm SL rotors, 180mm front/160mm rear, on a 29" Epic. I've done two rides, both of which went down a local trail that's a 1500' drop in 3 miles. Not super steep, but it's a flow trail so lots of turns. Both times when I got to the bottom the rear brake was squealing from overheating and the rotor was warping, causing pulsing braking. The rotor (a brand new Storm SL) has overheated so much that it's discolored. I've never seen that in 10 years of mtb riding. I've done this descent 50 times and never had a problem with Magura pads. These pads may be ok if you're riding somewhere flat but if you ride up and down mountains, get something else. I'm going back to Magura pads.

Nice pads!

Bought these to replace Magura pads.. Worked fine and best of all, they don't squeak.
