Perfect movie prop

For the money, these are great guns for anyone looking to make a western. The picture here is after I altered them with paint. You can get several different looks. The revolver barrel does not turn as you fire, but the hammer does cock back and the trigger works. The gun will arrive looking cheap and fake IMHO, but a little black paint on the handle makes it look like real wood and then the metal parts can be weathered as you like. (If you're filming, match these with a foam revolver that you can likewise paint so that you have a gun that can be safely thrown around or used to knock someone's noggin. Foam gun on Amazon under "foam western revolver".)

M1860 revolver (sort of)

Love the Revolver. Exactly like An m1860 (sorta). Hate how the barrel squeaks every time you spin it, but of course it’s for show. I don’t really like how it says “made in china” on the lower side of the gun, should’ve put it on the bottom of the grip instead. Rattles a bit when you shake it but again, it’s mostly for decoration. Has an alright wood feeling, but you can tell it is a bit weird. It does in fact have real steel I believe and the hammer can cock back. You can still pull the trigger even when it is cocked back though. Overall, for just 27 bucks, I believe it’s worth getting it if you really want it, Just know that it may have a couple tiny scratches, or the paint may be off, or you may hate squeaking, but if you overall want it to show off, then sure! I recommend getting it if you are into firearms.

Cool gun.

I bought this for my son. He loves to play with toy guns and he loves Red Dead Redemption and this reminded me of an old-timy gun. It was a good gift and he plays with it every day. It’s nice and heavy and looks pretty cool. He doesn’t use the stand but that’s ok it’s just cheap plastic anyway. It was a tad pricey for a toy but it’s loads better than another cheap plastic nerf toy that looks like what every other kid already has. Happy with my purchase.

Got this as a display to put in a place I would not put a real fire arm. It has a replica single action hammer. The only thing I did not like was the white on the stand so I painted those parts black.

Love it!

I bought this gun because I am doing my basement over with a western and Gunsmoke theme. I thought this would look awesome on one of the shelves, to give a realistic effect. You can even cock it and pull the trigger. It’s great!
