Great!

My husband jokes around that it look like Im wearing an apron, but I dont mind at all. These are handy, and does what it's supposed to. Big and modest enough to cover you and your baby or pump. It's not a hassle to put on, it feels a bit weighted so it doesnt easily gets blown to expose what's underneath, and the top part allows you to see through what's happening inside easily.

Best nursing cover I have used...you have to practice with it though!

Background: - I am 4'10", have a very large chest, and am freakishly modest - My son has always been in the 90+ percentile for length and 85-95 percentile for weight - We have used this cover from the time he was about 3 weeks old, and are still using it at over a year now Pros: - Goes on easy and adjusts easily - Pockets in the corners to put pacifier, burp rag, small toy, etc. while nursing - Pockets are terry cloth, which is great for doing a quick wipe of baby's mouth if you don't have a burp rag or something - Cover is large enough that I can tuck it under him a little so I don't have to worry about him ripping it off, it blowing off in the wind, etc. (I have also used the pockets to stick my hands in and hold the cover down if he is being particularly squirmy...they are sewed on well!) - It can be used as a blanket for sleeping, or to lay on the ground for tummy time/play time - Can easily see baby because of the rigid neckline Cons: - Due to my stature, it is easy for people to be able to see down the opening, or even just while I am sitting. However, it can easily be adjusted and moved to the side so that you can not see down it, and easily shifted back over to see baby again. - Using it outside in 80+ degree heat has caused me and baby to become outrageously hot and sweaty. We have a light cover I use when I know I will be in this kind of situation. I don't use the light cover all the time though because it is smaller, blows away easier, and I don't feel comfortable because of those concerns. Overall, the cover is great. I highly recommend it to anyone. If you are having issues with it blowing away, or other people being able to see down it just practice at home. It takes a little bit of practice with any cover to figure out what the best positioning is, how to adjust while feeding, what works and doesn't work for you and your baby. I have used this cover on airplanes, in crowded rooms, in church, in the car (not while it's moving), waiting rooms, etc. I have never had any issues with it that I couldn't find a solution for. Using a cover isn't any more "natural" or "easy" than breastfeeding your first child during the first couple weeks is! Give it time and practice with it.

Buy Eyelet Black -- great product

I own this cover in Eyelet Black, and it's awesome. I have used others Bebe Au Lait covers, and I would specifically recommend Eyelet Black for two reasons. 1) The lighter colored ones allow light to pass through. My daughter is incredibly curious, and she got distracted when could see shadows and suspected that something interesting was going on outside. With the black one, it's not an issue. 2) There are two layers, the top of which is embroidered. Because of this, it's thicker and more stiff than the other fabric options. That means that it keeps the shape. When I used a different cover that had been lent to me, it sometimes collapsed a bit and covered her face, which she and I both disliked. I suspect that Eyelet Ivory would be just as good since it's also lined, but I haven't tested it. I have never felt like it was too hot under the black cover (even in summer), but I didn't spend a lot of time nursing in direct sunlight. The size of these covers is good -- large enough, but manageable. In a pinch, we've used it to cover her stroller and to keep her warm. The only issue I ever had is that my daughter will sometimes grab the fabric and pull it aside to see out, but I don't think that could be avoided with any cover. She's just too nosy!

I love giving this as a gift!

I don’t have kids so no personal experience but.... a friend of mine go this while she was breast feeding and loved it. She explained that the soft but sturdy neck-line being flexed away from her body allowed her to see her baby feed while giving complete privacy. She used it everywhere, even at home as the darkness helper her little one calm down and focus, she even would use it in public places when holding her baby and it was sleeping. After visiting my cousin and watching her struggle with a blanket and hiding in a corner at a restaurant to discreetly feed her child I bought her one of these and sent it to her. She promptly called me (within the first week) and asked if I could get her 4 more for her expecting friends. Said it changed her entire going out into public with her baby experience as she was no longer worried about needing to find a private, discreet place to breast feed. It has now become one of my go to gifts for expecting parents - even when it’s not on the registry. (Well this and the Sophie Giraffe).

Must have for new breastfeeding mums.

The design and quality of this nursing cover is very good. I'm pleased with my purchase and rely on using my cover whenever we are out in public somewhere where I feel uncomfortable about feeding. The plastic insert in the seam is a great addition to the cover as baby is able to feed without the fabric directly against their face and allows you to see a clear view of baby as they latch on etc. It can feel a little hot and stuffy for baby when they are under the fabric but for me it's a reasonable compromise for allowing me to have the confidence to feed in public. My one issue with the black cover is that the fabric attracts lots of fluff and lint which is a bit frustrating as it makes the cover look scruffy. If I was to buy again I'd definitely choose another colour.

Practical

I love this nursing cover. It covers me nicely, but most importantly keeps my very wiggly baby from getting to distracted to nurse when we are out and about. The firm top edge gives a nice 'window' to your baby so you can see what is happening instead of having to help baby latch on without seeing what they're doing.

Amazing

A perfect product. As a new breast feeding mam, I was worried and nervous about doing it in public especially with all the negative press. A girl from support group suggested this and wow! I use it every day. I'd be lost without it. It's easy to use and the loop helps me and my LO see each other. It's nice and big to cover us and give the intimacy that we want whilst feeding. I recommend this product all the time and am so grateful to have it. Thank you

Great product- love it! So handy just to carry around in changing bag and then when needed provides discreet cover for breastfeeding my son whilst still allowing me to maintain eye contact with him. Really good quality material and love the design-goes with most outfits!!

Good when you need to cover up

Bought because my sister used one and I was going to be feeding in front of lots of grandparents. It does exactly as described, has a boned top so the baby can see and be seen, and an adjustable neck strap. It was extremely handy and I would recommend it.
