B&B charlogs rule.

Char-logs burn hot and continue giving off heat much longer than briquettes and lump charcoal. Great product. once it starts burning mixed with flavor woods, it's terrific. It burns efficiently, makes long cooking times on a "stick burner" smoker much easier. This product isn't cheap...the cost and availabilty is the only thing keeping it from five stars for value. When I care about the burn...I get B&B char-logs.

This is the best for slow smoking

If you are into slow, low temperature smoking, this is the best charcoal to use. It produces a slow burning heat that is clean and makes it easy to keep a low steady temperature. I don't use it for my Weber grill where I really like the lump hardwood for the high heat it produces, but for the Weber smoker, this is THE thing to use along with a few wood logs to produce the smoke.

Great product for grilling or smoking

I'm a huge fan of B&B and this product is my new favorite. If you have a WSM or other charcoal smoker these logs are a great option to consider for long cooks. They burn hot but consistently for a long time.
