Know What You Need It For

It's a little flimsier than the photo suggests, but it successfully allows for a hand-held shower head's hose to hang out of the way, and it accommodates most light-to-medium weight bottles in the baskets. Its adjustability is a nice feature. A good purchase.

It rusted

Good product but 3 years later it definitely rusted. It was worth the money though.

This is a perfect solution to a problem that had been bothering me for years!!! The shower in my master bathroom has just a tiny soap dish built into the tile, so I've always struggled to find a good way to store my shampoo bottles, facial cleansers, bars of soap, etc. For years I tried numerous crappy solutions that relied on suction cups to stick to the wall. Inevitably they would come crashing down in the middle of the night, waking me up and scaring the you-know-what out of me. Every time I went to a place that sold bathroom products I would look for a better solution. I considered drilling a hole in the wall and hanging a standard shower caddy on a hook, but for some reason that seemed like a terrible idea for someone who isn't all that handy with tools. Finally saw the chrome version of this caddy in my local Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased it - what a great idea!!! I did have to remove the shelf on the lower right-hand side of the caddy because it interfered with the built-in soap dish in my shower, but this was exactly what I had been looking for all these years. Cut to a year or so later and the chrome was rusting really badly, so I was looking to buy a new one. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a stainless steel version here on Amazon, so I bought it right away. Just got it yesterday so I can't yet comment on whether or not it will rust, but I would imagine it should be just fine. This product is amazing! It doesn't slip down on the pipe at all (although I'm in the habit of pushing it up at the end of every shower anyway), and the suction cups adhere perfectly to my tile. I do press those into the tile after every shower as well, but that's a minor inconvenience when you consider how well this thing works. The only other thing I should mention is that I see others have the same problem I used to have where the hose would get caught behind/between the towel holders. What I did was kind of just bend the holders and criss cross them together so that the hose doesn't get caught anymore. If I can figure out how to post a picture of that, I'll post it here so that it can help others. Anyway, love love love this product and my only criticism would be that maybe the bottom shelves should be designed to hold soap rather than shampoo bottles. Granted I still put my bars of soap on the bottom shelf, but they tend to fall through the basket when the bars get too small. Also, it would be nice if they could make the shelves adjustable vertically as well so that I could actually use all 4 shelves (even if I had to unscrew them to move them somewhere else). This may not be a problem for other people who don't have a soap dish in the way, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Great caddy for hand held shower

We just replaced our fixed head showers with hand held showers. Our previous stainless steel caddy had worked perfectly for us for over three years, but there was no place for the shower hose to drape. After a few days of annoyance, I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to hunt for a new shower caddy. They had nothing that would work for a hand held shower. So I searched online and found this. I read the reviews and ordered it anyway because it seems to be the only stainless caddy built to accommodate a hand held shower. Just as many other people discovered, the Swivel Lock "non-slip" collar does not work. Without anything on the shelves, the caddy slipped down our shower pipe. I grabbed a zip tie (as others had suggested) and secured it just in front of the caddy. The zip tie and the still-empty caddy both slid down the pipe. Then I pushed the zip tie tight against the wall and forced the "non-slip" collar on top of it. Success! I placed 4 medium to large bottles, a razor, a loofah, and a bar of soap on the caddy and it's still staying in place. Just in case it slides again, I have a hose clamp ready to tighten around the pipe just in front of the caddy to force it to stay in place. This caddy is sturdy, attractive, large, and I'm sure it will remain rust-free. My previous caddy had 2 holes molded into the wire of each shelf so that I could turn a bottle upside-down to use the last bit. I'm certain I will miss that feature. I need another caddy for our other shower that will also accommodate a hand held shower head and the hose. I'm hoping that Zenith will re-design the top of the shower caddy so that it will stay in place on the pipe (our previous caddy never slipped) and mold those useful small holes into the shelves. Or perhaps another company will design a stainless caddy to allow the hose to drape through a split between the shelves? This caddy does allow one to slide the baskets together for use with a fixed head shower. At present it is the best (and only) option for a hand-held shower. It works very well once you have managed to anchor it!

Zenith Expandable Handheld Shower Head Caddy, Chrome

Thank goodness we found this shower caddy! Looked everywhere for something that would work with a hose and couldn't find anything. Then I decided to check Amazon.ca and - lo and behold - they had the very thing I was looking for! Great design. Could be a tad wider so the hose would come off a little easier and not get tangled, but that being said, it really works quite smoothly. The suction cups on the bottom don't seem to stick no matter what I do. But then it is a heavy enough unit that it doesn't seem to matter that much. I give this item a thumbs up.

This caddy can accommodate the shower hose

I like the no rust possibility, the ability to hold large bottles of shampoo and the presence of hooks for bath mitt and back scrubber. The biggest ‘like’ is that it accommodates the shower hose very well. It didn’t come with suction cup holders to hold the caddy in a balanced position but i prob can figure that out later

Rusting in 2 weeks

This product works great but the little bands on the shelving are all rusting already and it’s only been two weeks in the shower
