Nice heavy denim

Denim starts out a little stiff like blue jeans are supposed to. Very comfortable at work with plenty of of room to move. If you’re not a cowboy order a size shorter inseam. The leg is 2” longer than my old 505 Levis.

Wrangler 20X Competition 01 Deep Blue

The Deep Blue version of this 20X Competition 01 Wrangler jean was much larger than the River Wash version in a 36" waist. The Deep Blue are also made with thinner material than the River Wash version. If you want the heavier ounce denim with the 20X Competition, I recommend the River Wash that are true to size and fit great. I don't understand why color would change the thickness of the jean to feel more like the Stretch denim that has become popular in jeans today. I have always worn Wrangler but disappointed that I could not get both colors in a consistent fit and weight.

It may state a size but it ain't always right

I bought these simultaneously with a pair of 31mwz in the same size and the fits couldn't be different. The waist is so large compared to the relaxed fit boot cuts that if the tags were still on them I'd have sent them back by now. I'd need to go down a size in waist and up in the inseam...they're a nice pair of jeans and pair very nicely with my Lucchese black cherry ostrich, but it's like I'm wearing jeans I'd skateboard in, not going to the post-rodeo dance or somewhere nice. It really is a shame.

Not bad, not great. Weird sizing.

The quality seems better than most discount jeans and miles ahead of Mark's house brands. You're getting what you're paying for. The color, River Wash, is darker than your typical stone wash and has that permanently dirty, beige tint to it, along with the fake wear marks seen in the pictures. Waist sizes are pretty close, and length is best described as "omg what were they thinking". I usually wear a 36 with sneakers. These are dragging the ground with boots. Order a minimum one size shorter and you "might" not have to get them hemmed. The relaxed fit is very relaxed. Straight legs are borderline snug on me, and these have about 3" of extra fabric mid-thigh. The only real disappointment is Wrangler falsely advertising them as "Sits below waist". Nope. These are full height, grandpa cut. With a belt they're still going to hang down, making the leg length problem worse. I'm keeping them for work use, due to the ease of movement. But they're too baggy for regular casual wear. Update - bought another pair in the Deep Blue color. Material is at least 25% thinner than the River Wash, meaning these are paper thin.

Remember they’re US sizing

So I bought these as getting relaxed/loose jean in Europe is a challenge everything seems to be skinny or tight fit, which I can’t bear the feel of. It seems Rodeo jeans are the future. Material feels nice and very comfortable. I’m usually 36 waist but being US size ordered 35 and the fit perfectly, I didn’t consider this with the leg so still ordered 36 and there really long. I’m fine with this though but it worth considering I’d probably go 35 waist 34 leg next time.

The best quality pair of jeans I have ever worn they are so comfy and strong I will be buying more
