Will rust

I bought this strainer for a sifter. It serves it's purpose. Though not really easy to clean, I do not find any strainer easy to clean. If I stick to dry contents I find I don't have to wash as often. Do not leave soaking,will rust.

Rust started to form after first wash

I have a similar (larger size) Winco strainer that i've had for years and loved. This one for some reason has started to rust immediately. Both in the mesh as well as around the edges (see pictures) I read the reviews saying theirs are great and never rust so not sure what happened with this one, but I'm most likely going to throw it away and have to find a new one. :/ sad

Ya have to have a sturdy strainer. I'd broken a plastic one. This one Is perfect.

Quickly Rusted

Used several times as a sifter of dry ingredients and liked it, but after the first use of liquids, when I washed it and allowed it to air dry, it rusted. I have two other sieves by the same manufacturer that have performed fine, so I am unsure why this one had issues.

Well made, no oxidation and fine enough to filter juices

This strainer is one of the most well made. The rim around the top does not have a gap so food particles do not easily accumulate. Also, the stainless steel is a little heavier gauge so it stays nice and shiny although the mesh is fine enough to filter juices. Very nice product.

Don’t waste your money terrible product

You can see the pictures rusted after two wash, after the very first time I wash it without used it got rusted. Such a waste of money, they don’t do refund, I thought I was buying a steel strainer. I would have given them 0 stars but it doesn’t allow it.
