Sturdy, easy to assemble!
This closet is very easy to assemble. I use a 13mm wrench to tighten the wheel nuts and put the two wheels that lock on the zipper side of the closet. I have bought the other kind of closet but the felt covering tore and the plastic rods of the closet sunk in so I had to throw it away. This product has a metal frame and thick plastic covering that makes it more durable. The plastic covering is fitted perfectly to the frame, and easy to slip on. Just put a covering over the bottom rack and you keep the dust out completely. I am renovating my house and have bought six of these closets.

Great!
It didn’t take long to assemble. The cover is made from sturdy plastic that won’t rip. It fits perfectly into the space where I needed to put it. The wheels make easy to pull out and slide back in.

Sturdy unit
I generally like this item. It is sturdier than one I had prior. I took away one star, however, because it was somewhat difficult to assemble, the assembly instructions were not explicit, and I would have preferred that the vinyl cover be fully encased rather than open on the bottom. The one I had prior had a fully encased cover. When I phoned to find out if one was offered, the company informed me that one was not offered because there would be no way to get a fully encased cover onto the unit. To the contrary, as with my previous free-standing closet, with the zipper open the vinyl could be slipped onto the poles during assembly at the bottom of the poles but above the bottom shelf, then raised toward the top to permit enough slack to allow the top portion to be pulled over the top of the unit, to then slide the cover back down to the bottom. While it is true that in doing so, the bottom shelf would be outside of the cover, it would still provide support and there would be complete enclosure, thereby minimizing any dust gathering within the closet. Unfortunately, the cover provided does not fully enclose the unit. I still overall, liked the unit and would consider buying another if the need arose.

waste of money
Unable to put together with pieces provided. The "A" clips to support shelves, do NOT clip together (match up well) sufficiently to hold shelf thus I had to SEPARETLY purchase things to do so. Thus the rating I gave this item I have no idea of the sturdiness etc as I am unable to assemble completely as of this writing

In love with my portable closet
We had one small pickup with assembly but figured it out. I bought white and gold hangers and it looks clean neat and organized. Two matching storage boxes hold and hide my shoes and I couldn't be happier

Well built sturdy rack
Very happy with the purchase. The rack is really solid and relatively easy to put together. The instructions could be a little clearer but honestly the build is pretty intuitive once you get over the plastic sleeves/wedges securing the shelves not fitting completely all the way around the pole. The shelves actually fit well over these wedges and if you apply enough pressure they will sit tight and won’t dislodge or move around. Overall, the rack is all aluminum (with the exception of the wheels) and once assembled it is REALLY solid & sturdy. There is no official weight capacity listed but I read it’s somewhere around the 180lbs mark. We use it for winter coat and seasonal clothing storage and honestly we are probably pushing 200lbs. The rack didn’t even budge under all that weight and it glides/rolls like butter fully loaded. The wheels are the only plastic components but they are much larger then most I’ve seen and seem pretty solid. The plastic cover is also much thicker then expected and fits the rack perfectly (t his was the only thing I would recommend a second persons to help with when sliding over to make sure you don’t rip it) As a tip, unlike the instructions, I would recommend securing the wheel to the poles first then sliding them through & then deciding where to place the sleeves to determine the height of the lower shelf. It was hard to gauge how high off the ground the shelf would be without the wheels being attached and it was really awkward attaching the wheels after all for poles were secured. Two of the wheels have locks so it’s helpful to decide which way you will be storing the unit so that u have access to lock & unlock the wheels if needed. Also both top & bottom shelves are the same so don’t waste time figuring out which one is which.

Using this for an unconventional purpose, but it works :)
Recently we got a new kitten, but unfortunately I had some house plants from before that are considered potential hazards (toxic or otherwise unsafe) for cats. I didn't want to throw away my plants so I was looking at ways to keep a curious kitty from being able to access the plants, without blocking sunlight or the view of the plants. This was the perfect solution. I used macramé plant pot hangers to hang some of my smaller plants from the rack bar, and the lower shelf for placing the larger potted plants. The cover is clear and is of a semi-durable vinyl that so far has blocked kitty nipping and scratching. I also like that the zipper opens from the top so I can water my plants while still keeping kitty away from them. This is working well so far as an indoor greenhouse and as a way to prevent kitty from accessing my plants. I do believe it would also be good as a cloths closet as it was intended for.
