Best stretching tool I've used

Very slippery on a carpeted surface but perfect for sitting in different positions at the end of the day and getting a good stretch. Comfortable on the knees.

These are dangerously good.

These are dangerous!!! ???? I say that with a smiley because these do exactly what they were designed to do. I nearly did a full-split before I caught myself on a nearby door jamb! I wanted a way to do extreme leg stretching and core exercises and these not only work but work well. I strongly suggest that before first use and until you get used to them you keep a grab bar, chair or even a door jamb handy. They are very comfortable and I will disclose that they make a slight "popping noise" when you step on them. When this happened the first time I put my foot on one I thought I had cracked it. This is not the case, it just makes the noise because the bottom (hard) pad is concave to allow better sliding and when you step on it it pops flat with a noise. No worse than the clang of a barbell or the clunk of a kettle bell. Yeah, I know, a kettle bell should clang ???? Unless you are doing meditative yoga poses with these I doubt you will find the popping distractive. These are made for use on carpet. They work great on our oriental rugs at the house, any tight weave or pad type carpet will work fine. They may work on other surfaces, but I would be concerned about scratching. A blanket on a hard floor would probably work as well as carpet. Again, comfortable and functional, a good value for the price. If you are trying certain core exercises or leg stretches without these I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the extent they bring to your movement.

Too small

As far as slipperiness, great…..but is is too small for a mens size 11 shoe and I feel is unstable for my liking. There are larger ones that I have better success with. A bonus for this particular item is it came as a set of 2.

Worth the Investment

I love my slider. I purchased so that I could complete PT at home. It is very wide and easy to use. I am a size 10, and it is very spacious on both sides. The material seems sturdy after over a month use. I will be having another surgery, so this was worth the investment. You can also use in other exercises to increase or decease difficult. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Love these sliders!

These sliders are pretty ingenious. They are light weight and functional. The few clips on YouTube show 10+ ways to use them on carpeted floor. I find no difficulty sliding on carpet (area rug and industrial grade at work). I don't know if they work on grass. Will give them a try this weekend. I don't have hardwood therefore I am not sure if using them on hardwood would be ideal. Hardwood there should be no problem sliding without them wearing socks anyway. BTW, I can use one as a pirouette turn board. It seems to be a decent substitute (that can withstand adult weight).

SMOOTHEST Glide, Supportive Padding

I love these gliders!! My trainer uses gliders in our workouts almost daily. I was getting extremely frustrated with the flimsy, round disc gliders and was looking for something different. The TumbleTrak gliders were EXACTLY what I was looking for! The thick foam pad is super supportive, and the domed plastic bottom creates SUCH a smooth, easy glide. Can’t recommend these enough over all of the flimsy disc gliders on the market!

Slide around like an idiot

Really slippery, and a great shape for the whole foot! I find it quite stupid that other sliders are shaped like discs. The padding is nice and thick. I stand behind my couch while watching hockey and go "cross country skiing" with these. You can actually get a pretty good cardio workout that's easy on your joints. Quite fun to slide around on one while pushing off with a free foot. Slide around your apartment like an idiot!

So much better than I even expected.

Honestly I didn't expect these to be as amazing as they are. I picked them up on a whim and they are so useful. I still can't do a straight arm pike press to handstand, but the usefulness in core work and stretching is amazing. And my kids love using them as skates around the lounge.

Ok but meh overall

I have a few pairs of sliders and these are no better or worse then any others. I find them not ‘slide-y’ enough on Berber carpet but ok on a mat that I have with a more ‘slick’ finish. I do like the thickness and the shape compared to the round type. These are for carpet only as the black side is foam. Honestly you can buy big furniture sliders for a lot less that do as good a job. I am still searching for the perfect sliders..
