WITH STRANGE FEET, THESE WERE THE BEST I COULD DO FOR NOW

As I have become older, it has become difficult for me to find shoes to fit as I would like them. I have long, narrow feet and shoes are so hard for me to find. So, the size 13 is needed for the extra toe space. The narrow width in these shoes fit fine around the upper portion of my feet, but not narrow enough around the ankles (gap when I walk which most likely will become worse as I wear them a few more times). The gaping is mainly the reason for the 4 stars. So, actually, my problem my be my feet and not the shoe.

Stylish and Mostly Comfortable Shoes - Chunk of Shoe Missing After Only Four Months of Light Wear

I was very pleased with the appearance of the shoe. It works well with my clothing. I ordered the B width which is what I normally wear but it's a little snug across the ball of the foot - it is tolerable though. I was most surprised that after only four months of light wear of the shoe in office settings, I discovered today that a small chunk in the center of the bottom of my shoe came out. I don't have any pieces to glue back onto the shoe. I have never had that happen to a shoe - even when wearing the same shoes for years. Either this shoe is defective or the soles are not very durable. I tried to look for a way to re-contact the seller but could not find any way to contact the seller via Amazon. I should be able to exchange the shoes in this situation.

Quality Shoe

I've mentioned in past reviews that I have wide feet. I've always had them. I suspect I always will. These feet take me from place to place but also secure me to wearing ugly, "old lady" shoes. These shoes aren't that type. Some fashion savvy people may disagree and I'd see their point. However, if you work outside of the home in a professional office and want to be comfortable in flats that are a female version of a man's shoe, then these are the shoes for you. OK, I just read what I typed. They aren't that ugly. They are comfortable. The finish is kind of dull. The description of them on here is exact. There wasn't any showmanship inserted to give you razzmatazz. If you dress plain mostly or once in awhile or maybe preppy...buy them. I think you'll like what you are gonna get.

Nice shoes!

Trotter was my Mother's maiden name, so I waa glad to find Trotter shoes. These were size 7W and fit me, even when my feet are swollen. They are very comfortable shoes, and I needed a pair of black loafers badly. I am pleased with this purchase. When one's feet tend to be swollen, it is very difficult to order shoes online to get a good fit.

Comfortable shoe but didn’t work for me

Nice shoe. Was too long and I was unwilling to try a half size shorter as that doesn’t usually work for me. Also thought the vamp would be higher so that when I wear pants the pant leg covers my socks.

Very Comfortably Fits My Very Hard to Fit Wide Foot

It was reviews that caused me to consider these shoes. I have been wearing them for over two years and have them in two other colors. This color was out when I bought the other two pairs. When these came in stock again, I bought them to work into my wardrobe. I was looking for a shoe that was comfortable enough to wear all day. The shoe does not gap on the sides. It is extremely comfortable. The rubber sole is comfortable for me. I can walk long distances and not experience discomfort. They are simple, soft, leather but dressy enough for work wear, which is how I use them. I have a very wide foot and ordered it in wide. It found the wide to fit just fine.

They fits good, but you should order half size smaller.

My original shoes size 8,5 2E, but I always order half size bigger because of my bunion. So first time I ordered 9 2E size, it was way too big almost half of inch. And I decided to try 8 2E and they fit OK, even a little bit longer, but at the same time they were a little bit narrower then I need. Now, after a week they fits good and comfortable.

Disappointed

As I already have a pair of shoes of this style but a different colour I was disappointed to receive two shoes for the right foot, different sizes, neither were my size. Both have been returned!

Fits small and narrow

Shoes were ok, leather was fine, but the fit was too small and too narrow, even with narrow feet.
