Easy to Transform

My 3 year old grandson is obsessed with Transformers. Many of them have a a dozen or more complicated steps to transform from car to robot form and back. This one is cool because it’s only about 6 steps and he can do it himself.

My four year old grandson wanted this, it said it was in his age range, It's not! Maybe 7 - putting it together was not easy. and once he did figure it out, he was bored with it..

I hate these things.

Don’t buy this for a kid who can’t transform it. It’s like 800 steps and will ruin your day. That said, quality is normal. Has instructions. God speed.

Why is this so complicated to transform?

The button “transform” mechanism has yet to work without hiccups. You gotta go back and move the shoulder blade and massage things back into place. My niece still loves it my this shouldn’t be so complicated to use.

The transformation is finicky and frustrating. More frustration than fun.

The transformation is finicky as the button needs to be pressed multiple times to convert it from the truck to bot mode. Going back from the bot mode to the truck is finicky and frustrating and the clicking mechanism is not satisfying or stable. Pinched my son's fingers several times and now he has stopped playing with it.

Just received, it was smaller then expected. The parts were stiffed to move around, feels like it break if u pull just a lil to hard. plus there is a 10 $ shipping fee to return.

Really Hasbro?

Poorly designed toy that can ruin your kids’ and your day. It looks good but it’s so difficult to transform that even adults can’t do it unless they try it multiple times and watch YouTube videos. I would not recommend it.

Unimpressive and challenging transformation

Having bought online it was difficult to assess the quality. Given it’s a trusted brand the value for money is lacking. The design and transformation is flimsy, parts don’t lock in when it should nor does the smash function work as it should. We are yet to have a smooth transformation at every step. Overall poor value for money, and I wouldn’t buy it again nor recommend it to others if they asked me about it.
