best of the competion
I took away a star as in a year, some flowers fade and green lilies do wear out. I did try another much cheaper brand and they simply came curled and very thin. This product seems to be the best of the bunch, figure two years max in a seasonal pond. Also a flower may come detached with use, but can be hot glued on. Several frogs in pond like it to sit on and they do float easily and overall look pretty. I wish there was a amazing quality brand out there, but cant seem to find any. Note this is same brand as Lowes has, but AZ seems to have a lower price. I would buy again.

One Flower missing
When I received the package, two of the Lily pads were stuck together and I had to pull them apart. After I pulled them apart, I discovered that one lily pad did not have a flower with it. I was hoping that the flowers would look more realistic, but you can tell they are plastic. Not worth sending it back.

Good Artificial lilies
I bought these to add additional coverage/hiding for my goldfish. Up close the lilies look artificial, but in the pond they look very realistic. They are made from a Styrofoam type of material with fake water spots(see pics). So far I am happy with the build quality and the appearance of the product. My only concern is that this Styrofoam type material may not hold up for too long in direct sunlight and the white part of the Lilly looks like it may get dirty easily. I checked the manufactures website to see if they had any info on the material used to create these lilies but they had nothing. You can buy the lilies individually at Home Depot for $3.97 a piece plus tax which came out to be more expensive than buying it here on Amazon. I have attached a few pictures. I should also mention that the lily design that you receive may vary and not look as pictured. Edit: I ordered 2 more of these and the design is the same the only deference to the pictures I posting is that the color of the flowers are different.

Colorful finishing touch!
I built a pond, not for Koi but for my dogs to splash around in. I did not want to use chemicals to treat the pond for algae, so I put a tiny hay bale in the water. HOWEVER! My dogs find the hay bale fascinating and want to rip it to shreds. The lilly pads serve as the perfect disguise, tied to the hay bale so it cannot be seen. Even though I purchased the lilly pads to serve a specific purpose, the extra bonus is how pretty they are. They dress up my pond in a way I did not anticipate! Nice! And for whatever reason, my dogs could not care less about the lilly pads; they don't disturb them at all. Perfect!

Nice Addition to My Pond
I needed to add some floating plants to my small pond, but the weather has been too cold to add "live" plants. I decided to try these artificial lily pads to help provide some shade to help prevent algae growth. The pads are a good size, seem sturdy and do look real. I hope they don't fade in the summer sun, we'll see.

Lilly Pads
I use a chlorine floater in my pond, and the Lilly pads faded after about 6 months, also the rubber leaves started to fall out.
