Funny story...These socks are wonderful!

Bought these socks 3 years ago for my husband who was going to take a trip involving a lot of walking. The trip was cancelled, and he never used them. The socks randomly were passed around from him to my daughter, but neither of them ever wore the socks. They just went from one laundry basket to another, till finally, 3 years later I said "Fine, I'll wear them". Today I put the socks on and OH MY WHAT I HAVE BEEN MISSING! I use a treadmill desk and walk while I work. These SOCKS ARE FANTASTIC & like no other socks in the drawer. I will be telling my husband & daughter what they are missing (they never wore them) as these are now my favorite socks. They are thick, soft and warm. They "hug" my feet which will help because my feet tend to start hurting after lunch from standing/walking on my treadmill all day. Yes twelve dollars is the most expensive pair of socks I've bought, but having one pair for this sort of comfort is worth it.

A little too much pad for me.

I got these because I read they’d be helpful when dealing with a bunion. I run a lot. I mostly use Stance’s running socks these days. Thought I’d try to these, but found there’s just a little too much padding. I get why they are made that way, and they do seem to help minimize bunion irritation. But they fill up the toe box of the shoe and I like room.

The only socks my son wears

My son has Charcot-Marie-Tooth which causes large calluses that quickly wear holes in his socks. We bought him some Thorlos at SAS Shoes a few years ago, and they work really well. Holes don’t appear nearly as quickly, and the socks have a padding in them that makes them comfortable. My only complaint is the cost. For the price, I thought there would be 2-3 pairs, but there’s only one. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars.

Excellent cushion!

My second purchase of these socks. If you're going to be on your feet for a long period of time, or doing a lot of walking or running on a hard surface...get these socks! They have a thick, comfy cushion, and they stay put...they don't slide down.

Great socks... for the most part

These socks, while excellent, tend to rip at the Achilles Tendon area, which can cause blisters.

A celebration for your feet.

There are thinner silky socks. There are socks with little ducks on them. There are cheaper socks. Then, there are Thorlos! If you want cushion comfort, excellent fit, long-lasting socks that will love your feet all day long you've just found them. Oh it may not be this style, but they have so many styles and several colors you'll find something that suits your needs. Look, I've got lousy feet which is unfortunate for my feet because I love to walk, to explore the sights, the backstreets, the canals, the path less taken thru the woods to Grandmother's house...and beyond. Thorlos fit my needs every time under every demanding exploring day every where I travel. I wear them with shorts & with suits, with sport shoes & dress shoes. They last so long that, well except for this new style that I just tried, I can't remember when I bought the dozen or so that I have and use every day. Oh, and BTW, this new style is really nice. Wearing them to the gym and around the house and they feel good ... they must be Thorlos:-)

Great comfortable socks.

These a well made socks that provide plenty of cushioning. I've been using them for about two months doing 5 and 10 k runs two or three times a week and my feet feel fine afterwards... Unlike they used to be after the thinner socks I used to wear that left my with plenty of blisters. They make running better.

Running Comfort.

These Sicks are fantastic Quality, plenty of Cushion on the underside. They wash really well and keep their shape. Hold on the foot when running without friction. Hold the sweat well while running. Great socks.
