It works.
I needed to get a hose so that I could use a large tank instead of the small portables in my big buddy. The hose works fine. I like having a 5 foot hose instead of a 10 foot hose because who needs the extra length? This pkg does not come with a filter, so I had to order one. It works without the filter, but my first Big Buddy quit, apparently clogged inside from some oily residue. The filter is supposed to catch the oil. They say the oil comes from the composition of the hose, so Mr Heater should probably be making the hose out of something other than rubber. Still, it is the only option out there, and it works. I replaced the Big Buddy heater, and the hose still works fine. The full tank ran for about 4 days straight on low; and over a week just overnights during ten degree weather. I will be keeping the heater and hose as a backup heater for the few weeks a year it becomes necessary. I elevated the heater in hopes it might lessen the oil issue.

Very disappointed in this product.
I'm pretty disappointed in this product. After getting a mr heater buddy I found out I have to exclusively buy their hose so it doesn't build up and clog the heater. So I purchased one for 2x the normal price. Right before camping I went to hook it up and made sure to thread it properly and I couldn't get the hose to transfer the propane after hooking it up to a 20gal tank. Tried everything and still couldn't get it to work

Best propane transference device in history
It performs perfectly by transfering propane from a tank to a propane powered device. The gas passes smoothly and seemingly without obstruction of any measurable consequence. I use and I recommend this tube! It is easy to use and great value. They're telling me to mention sheerness but I don't know what that means but I'm sure it's sheer. When do I get my free hose? 5 stars all day! Happy propane powered experiences. Be careful...it's flammable.

I got hosed!
Hey, you gotta have one if you wanna use the big guys! Allows me to hook up to my 15 pound tanks. Much more convenient than the little one pound canister. I bought the heater for use during power outages. I have a generator but it won’t help run the furnace. I can keep my finished basement warm with the Mr. Heater. But I’m not gonna use the little canisters. And even during the last major outages, lasted a week, I could always find propane at the convenience store. So I had to buy this hose and the filter. Money well spent. It’s very reasonably priced. It’s plenty long enough. Durable. Very good fittings. Good rubber. Do it. You need it. You’ll be glad you did when you’re cold. lol Highly recommend. Great little hose!
I bought this hose for my portable buddy heater for ice fishing. I use it with a 5lb propane tank. I figure this will save me $150 a year over buying the disposable 1lb tanks. With this smaller 5' hose you must also get the fuel filter because of the plasticizers in the hose. Happy with purchase and delivery time.

Saves propane!
Use hose with my Mr Buddy propane heater in our gazebo! Ontario winters can be cold and this hose works perfectly with a 20 lb propane tank and the heater. Much better than using the one pound canisters! Great invention and easy to install ! No leaks to date!
