I bought these to put on myStarTech.com 36U Adjustable 4 Post Server Equipment Open Frame Rack Cabinet 4POSTRACK36 (Black) and I couldn't be happier! They are extremely durable. I contemplated getting some cheaper ones elsewhere but ultimately I was scared off by the lb rating on them. The server rack these are supporting weighs about 100lbs by itself. Then it has 7x 2U UPS/battery units (probably totaling 350lbs), 3x 4U servers (probably totaling 100lbs), and a bunch of networking equipment (probably totaling another 50lbs). So they are supporting roughly 600lbs, sitting on semi-plush berber carpet, and I can role my rack out from the wall fairly easily. I am very impressed how well they moved that weight on carpet, and generally how well they support that much weight (I know it's more then the manufacturers rated specifications for the casters). If you are interested in specs: The mounting holes are about 1.75" apart on the narrow side, and 2.25" on the long side. Two of the casters have locking/stopping levers on them, two don't. All are swivel casters. They sit about 3" high.

Throw the screws away.
These worked great for my 26u cab. I had to drill 2 holes for each set, but it was cheaper than buying the tripp-lite casters. The hardware that comes with these wheels is useless. Plan ahead and get the nuts, bolts, and washers you'll need for installation.

All parts included
These casters are currently holding 4 Cisco 2821's, 4 2960's, 4 2u servers, PDU .. etc in a 150lb rack. Heavy duty and roll easy. The wheel lock is plastic. Tripp-lite casters are bigger and stronger.. but these StarTech's get the job done. Holes lined up perfectly to a Startech rack and a Tripp-lite rack.

Casters Don't FiT
Bought this 16U Open Frame Network Rack. Viewing this item above, I thought it would be a compatible and a flawless fit. The 4 piece Caster Kit arrived, but doesn't fit this rack. No mounting points underneath rack to accommodate casters. Contacted StarTech, finally speaking to a service rep after a 55 minute wait. He also confirmed, it doesn't fit. His conclusion, the only compatible fit for this Caster Kit, is with the 42U Mobile Open Frame Network Rack. For those must have's, or DIY's, a few bucks spent at HD or Lowes, and with a bit of creativity, it could work !

Exactly as advertised
This were exactly as advertised and worked perfectly with my startech 36u rack. I have a pretty heavy ups and extra battery in the bottom of the rack some lighter 1 u things in the top and a couple 4 u servers in the middle. Everything rolls around and feels sturdy.

Used these on a 12U rackStarTech.com 12U Adjustable 4 Post Server Equipment Open Frame Rack Cabinet 4POSTRACK12 (Black) . Work just fine with a fully-loaded 12U, very strong.

Great fit on the STARTECH 4POSTRACK36 36U.
Installed onto a STARTECH 4POSTRACK36 36U and the whole rack still fits in a standard doorway making it really easy to move in and out on the tile floor.
