Run a little big

I don't buy that much from GAP but these were on sale. My 5 yr old (almost 6) is small (42 lbs), but in Target/Cat and Jack he wears size 5 perfectly or size small. IMHO, these run a little larger than Target brands. We got size S and they are way too big. I think they are good quality and value on sale. He can always grow into them and they have the drawstring. yay! FYI, if you are between sizes I would say order down, for size small anyway.

Took MONTHS to Receive

Took off a star as it took literal months (3 to be exact) to receive product. Otherwise nice shorts.

Size L = 10

Well I didn't realize a size Large is a size 10. Thankfully they are longer shorts so they worked for my thinner son who can wear a 10-12 waist, but wearing a size 14/16 pants for the length, but the waist is so big and he has to max out the adjustable waist. So these actually will work and is a nice mesh material and lightweight.

Nice, high quality shorts!

My son really likes these shorts. They are soft and comfortable. He is 11 but on the smaller end and he still has a bit of room to grow in them. They are light and will be perfect for the summer. I highly recommend them!

These shorts look amazing on my son. I love the gap logo and the colors of the shorts. They have a great waistband and are comfy.

Comfortable soft mesh. M is size 8

These mesh shorts are a good weight for summer. They are lightweight, breathable, but not see-through. They washed up without pilling and don't feel itchy like some poly blends can be. The drawstring is functional, and my kid likes that there are pockets on these. The medium is a size 8 on the tag. It fits correctly for the size. Snug at the waist - enough that they don't need to tie the drawstring for these to stay up. The length hits above the knee, and due to the longer length there's room to grow.

Great for and quality

Really great shorts, nice quality, true to size and very light. Mix and match with most of his shirts, perfect for school. They are free flowing really so he is comfortable in them all day long. Super easy to care for as well, just throw them in the mix in washer and all done, wrinkle resistant. Really awesome.
