Better than Legos!
My 6 year old grandson builds and rebuilds his snap ships. They stay together well enough to play with. The YouTube videos are a great addition to his play experience. Perfect toy!

Fun to assemble with one major fault
Like the other snap ships products this is a fun build with lots of options. There is one major problem though - the "drop pods" don't close securely enough. I guess this is so they can pop open when released however the connections aren't secure enough for them to stay closed when mounted on the ship. Kid was pretty disappointed that it didn't work very well.

Great Toy, but we want a set that doesn’t fall apart
This is a wonderful toy. It’s just that two types of the pieces consistently fall apart. It’s a great design, but compared to the other Snap Ships that we have, this one is simply not as well made. We may end up buying another one and hoping for the best that this set is manufactured as well as the sets that are blue and red.

Entertaining toy for kids
This is a modular built similar to Lego or brick toys. Shapes are typically cubes that connect to each other. Every toy comes with a mini figure, that could be a pilot or a soldier. There are two factions: good guys vs bad guys kind of deal. It is fun for kids to build. Some models come with multiple builds, meaning you can build 3 different planes with the pieces included in the box. Once you are done building the ship there is a display stand where the ship can be put up for display. The instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow.

Overall a good enough kit for display, and some degree of play. Nice design, lots of details, and one of the few Snap Ships that can mount the included Uju Tech item and the display stand at the same time with little to no modification (just remove the chin turret). That said, it has two flaws. The first is the fragility of the tail. Even without pressing on the installed plunger pieces to drop the troop pods, the tail droops noticeably and threatens to break off with more than a slight touch. It would probably have been better to make the tail area twice as tall and not be able to drop with the push of a plunger, since pushing down the plungers tends to cause the tail to break off anyway. Not really zoomable, either; at least, not without very careful handling, which makes using the drop function risky at best. The second is its size and weight; when used on the display stand, it threatens to tip to one side or the other with no provocation other than a slightly uneven tabletop. It can be kept from tipping over with a little care, but if it's on a shaky table, expect it to try to flop on its side at even a little provocation. Unlike the Gladius, it only comes with a single mounting pylon, so using two stands turned sideways is generally not possible. That said, it's still a really cool design. Just take care when displaying it, or using the troop dropper plungers.

Exellent model for the money
Really great looking ship for a fair amount of money. Easy to assemble, very clear instructions.

Great building toy for kids and adults.
This building toy is something that both children and adults can enjoy building. The model itself goes together pretty well except for the tail section which is a little loose and could use a stabilizing piece or if you like the configuration and don't want to change it you can use superglue to permanently secure it. The integrated box lid stand is a cool idea but the model is pretty heavy so it isn't very stable on it. Where these models really come to life is through the downloadable app. Upon completion you scan it in the app. And your creation appears in AR. And is playable in a game on the app. It's pretty cool. The instructions could use some work however. The illustrations could show more part detail. A flat head Screwdriver-like too is included to separate the parts to reconfigure or if you make a mistake. If these toys take off I could see them offering expansion packs of trim pieces, armor, weapons and engines etc..

Perfect gift for my 7 year old
My son loves these snap ships and I love them WAY more than legos. He actually keeps these built versus taking the lego builds apart a few days after building them. He has a HUGE collection of snap ships and I love that I can buy 3 of the same snap ship when they are on sale for under $10 because there are multiple different builds for each one. He has dropped these, "flown" them into each other and we have had epic battles without them falling apart. He can build them all himself and loves that they come with a stand so he can put them on his dresser when he isn't playing with them.

Gran juguete scifi.
La mejoe nave de Snap Ships, mejor que el Gladius. Es grande, pesada y muchos detalles. Ya van 4 que compro y seguire comprando más . Enero 2022.
