Not as sharp as cheaper scissors

These aren't the worst scissors I've ever bought but I ordered these the same week I bought another pair in the crafts section at Walmart for a large sewing project (cutting out 200 costumes). I thought the Singer name meant higher quality but I was disappointed at how well these actually cut through fabric. They both work but the Singer scissors couldn't slide through fabric without hanging up unlike the cheaper generic pair which are much better in terms of sharpness, ease of use and comfort. Disappointed. I ended up using a rotary cutter with much cleaner results.

Decently sharp and seem to be reasonable quality

Are they an exact replacement for my vintage Henckels? Likely not, but are they good enough? They seem to be for the price. It was largely the brand name that convinced me to make the purchase. With so many things made in China now, it is kind of a crap shoot. Like the color, the size is good and they have worked for the materials we were trying to cut so far. Decent for the price, don't expect a real luxury feel to them.

Great strong scissors

Very comfortable to use strong scissors that stay sharp and cut through puffed cow ears very well to cut them into small pieces for my puppies. These may work well for tough materials for you.
