Perfect for staining rough surfaces!
I purchase these every year to apply stain to the 8 inch logs on our summer home. Since it is difficult to apply stain to logs because the surface is not flat i had always used the traditional brush or spray methods to cover the logs. When spraying i would spend an extra day putting up scaffolding and taping off all of the windows. i would then cover all the deck and trees to keep the stain off. Staining a 4,000 foot home with a brush is not an attractive alternative. The makeup of this roller allows you to fill the roller and then apply, without the stain dripping all over. Because the roller is not a solid cover the stain stays in the roller and easily covers the logs. Since i discovered this my neighbors have joined with me in this time saving approach to an age old problem.

slit foam roller
this is one of the ONLY ways to paint a "popcorn" ceiling. I've tried many rollers and someone at Home Depot recommended this to me. I've gone back to get more from Home Depot and no one knows what I am talking about when I describe this. I must have gotten the only one left in the store. I will definitely recommend this product. The only drawback I have is that it isn't as long as the one I had originally bought. The original was probably an inch or 2 longer than this one.

Sealed my flagstone and worked perfectly. Does nottake uo to much paint and spreads out evenly and plan to buy more.

acoustic ceilings
The only roller made to paint acoustic Ceilings. Specific for acoustic that was blown on yet not painted. This roller head will do a thurough job of painting. Ussually with one coat. Note: try to cover quickly. If you notice that your unable to cover with paint in one application then don't try to. Some acoustic is very tempermental and may still be pulled loose even with this good roller. How ever once your paint dries you should never have problems painting that ceiling again. This roller will apply alot of paint. Most ceiling paint is not spatter proof. You will want to use drop clothes. Again, do not dwell or go back to a fresh area you just painted. Finish, let dry completely. Then re-apply to light areas. Always stir or have ceiling paint shaken thuroughly just before use.
