TEST RUN

Well...after having to return 2 boxes because of defects ( missed glazing, bumpy swirls on top of plates, & some rough spots) We decided to give it another try because they looked like really nice dishes for the price. Amazon replaced with 2 more boxes & we were able to select 8 pretty acceptable replacements. I will review again in several months to report how they perform. They are very nice, so I hope they do.

Love them!

I love these plates so much. They feel really solid and not fragile like a lot of ceramic plates do. The color is great and I like the tan color on the lip of the plates and bowls. I got the gray color and it goes really well with the kitchen. Definitely recommend and considering buying more in a different color!

Color not as pictured but still beautiful

This set is beautiful, very solid and durable. So far it has held up well through several high heat dishwasher runs. My only complaint is that I expected a warmer ivory white, but the color irl is closer to a very light gray. It definitely has a cool cast to the tone. The color is pretty and modern, but not what I was going for. However we decided to keep them because we like everything else about the dishes. The shape and size of all the pieces are ideal for daily use for a family.

Plates are heavy and if excellent quality. Wish they had serving pieces as well.

Gibson Dinner set.

Very well made, washes well in the dishwasher. The bowls are a good size. They are thicker than any plate I have had, so I do have to use 2 spaces in the dishwasher for them, but no big deal I can still fit all eight in at once. I bought 2 sets and I really like them.

Very good plate and bowl. Be careful of sharp edges if any of them is broken.

The plates and bowl were very sturdy and heavy. It feels very solid to hold in your hand, and it is extremely easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this to others and give it a 5-star, but I was just a little disappointed that one of the bowls came shattered. I accidentally cut myself while trying to take out the bowls thinking that it was all intact when I felt something cut my finger... But it's my fault for not being cautious, so no big deal. I thought of returning it and getting a refund, but the nearest UPS store is too far, and the plates are heavy, so I guess I was just unlucky

Do not use for eating steak or pork chops

The bowls are nice and deep for salads or soup. Plates are a nice size, however, do NOT cut steak on them. It scratches bad.

Study, beautiful dishes

This dishes are on the heavy side, but they a lovely, and easy to clean. They don’t scratch easy. We’ve been using them for several weeks, been through the dishwasher many times, and still look brand new. Us adults love them. The kiddo thinks they are a bit too heavy, but we love the size and weight.
