Beautiful Princess Dress for any little Princess!
I purchased this dress for my daughters 3rd birthday. She LOVES playing dress up and she truly believes she is a princess.The dresses that I had bought her before were from Disney and she wore them daily.She loved them but to me the cost was ridiculous for the quality was lacking. So when I began my search for a better quality play dress for her, I really read a lot of reviews and went to stores looking around for the best quality for the best price.When I found this dress on amazon, I was a little worried about not getting to see it in person first.But when we recieved it, I was so happy. I knew I made the right purchase. It really is a beautiful,well made dress up dress.My daughter absolutley fell in love with it the moment she unwrapped it.I really like that the bottom of the dress has a built in hoop, it helps keep her from tripping over it. It is a long dress.She is in a size 3T and The dress fits her with room to grow. I like that it isnt a specific princess, she can be any princess she chooses to pretend to be that day.The crown and the wand are also very durable.The crown has little combs on each size to stay on better.The dress has a velvety feel on the top front and the body of the dress has a satiny feel. The back is closeable with velcro pieces that are strong and well attached. I am so happy with this purchase.I have started looking at other dress up clothes by the Melissa and Doug brand and will be making more purchases in the future for my daughter AND son to add to thier collection of pretend play dress up stuff! They have a great variety to choose from for boys and girls! I am so excited :) You and your daughter will LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress.

Adorable and very high quality
This dress is just perfect. My three-year-old is in heaven. She wanted to be a princess for Halloween, and I wanted a dress that would last, that she would love, and that was not explicitly Disney -- I wanted her to be able to wear it in her school's "Storybook Parade" (no licensed characters allowed!), and I also wanted a dress that lets her imagine and make up her own princess stories. She adores this dress. I think it's higher in quality than any dress-up dress I've seen in a store or in a friend's toy bin. It is soft and shiny with a little hoop skirt. It's easy for her to put on herself. The sizing is great for a range of ages -- she's a petite three-year-old and it's big on her, but not too big. It will fit for at least a couple of years, I'll bet. Best of all, we've already machine-washed and tumble-dried this twice, including an overnight soak in Oxy to deal with post-Halloween chocolate stains. :) It's held up beautifully. What a wonderful dress! I can understand all the rave reviews. Well done, Melissa and Doug.

Adorable!!
This dress was a lot softer then I expected. Super silky, sparkly and girly. Perfect for a princess. The tiara and wand are colored in for the gems, perfect for mom! Now I don't have to hunt them down and try and glue them on because they will never fall off!!! The one thing that surprised me bout the dress that I didn't notice in the description (it might be in there!) Is the built in flexible hoop! I was worried this dress would look to drapey and not very poofy but the hoop helps hold the hem out to keep it from looking blah. The middle of the skirt where it parts is almost like organza? Thicker, not see through, but not super rough, glittery!!! Which doesn't matter too much cause there's a skirt lining underneath it to keep it off your princess's little legs. My princess doesn't get this until a few more weeks, so once I get it on her I'll finish my review with sizing. And change anything else I've discovered with actual wear.

INCREDIBLE dress - forget paying for the "actual" Disney dresses
After reading hundreds of reviews, and searching 5 different stores (Disney store itself included...holy prices) and finding most Princess dresses to run between $14 and $50 (even Target charges $20-$30) and some not even including wands or crowns, I settled on this one....I couldn't be happier!!! There are no cons, but I am happy to list the pros! size - I have a tiny 2yr old...she's only 24lbs and about 34" tall...I was a little concerned it would be too big but it's PERFECT, and with room to grow without gaping or h anging off her. She has to "lift it like a princess" a little to walk, as about an inch is on the floor, but when she stands still it's not in the way/excessively big. The material is AWESOME...very soft, well-stitched, and is just absolutely adorable. The skirt has a flexible "hoop" in it to help keep the shape, but it's not stiff enough to get in the way of sitting/laying in it or climbing around. I wish this dress came in 100 colors...I'd buy every single one. HUGE hit...GREAT purchase. I also love that it's not specific to ONE princess - she can be getting married, or a princess, or going to a dance....and she does!

The Best Princess Dress on the Market for any Price !!!
I bought this for my 5 year old niece who loves to play dress-up, especially as a princess for her birthday. She already had 6 princess outfits (I wasn't aware of that when I purchased this as she lives in another state). My sister-in-law said that this outfit is by far the prettiest, the most comfortable and the best quality one that she has. She loved it so much that she wore it all day long on her birthday. She got chocolate on it and my sister-in-law wiped it with a wet cloth and it came right off. I was concerned about the fit. They said it was perfect, they even emailed me a picture of her wearing it. It appeared to fit well but with room to grow in. She is petite for her age and although I'm not sure of her height and weight, I'm looking back at some notes I made, she may be 3 feet tall and 28 pounds. I do know however, that she wears a size 4T or a 4 in clothing and usually has to have the shoulders taken in. The seller is awesome as well. The gift arrived on time and as promised. You can't go wrong with this one!

It’s beautiful and it’s washable. Only complaint is that it’s hard for a child to do up the Velcro on the back themselves. Otherwise, it’s a great costume and we’ll worth the price!

Very well made compared to the other dress-up clothes my daughter has and I suspect it will outlive all of the others. It fits her well and she loves it. It also has a hidden hoop sewn in the skirt so it really looks like a full princess dress!
