Great buy, child loves and fits great!
My son is 8, skinny and tall, after reviews I ordered a medium. It gives some room to grow but isn’t too big. I’d rather have it a little large than small or perfect fit that I’ll have to donate quickly.

Very good value
These are a great buy. Light, but the sweatshirt-like lining and the hood make it excellent for Fall weather. Purchased one for my son -- liked it a lot. Then purchased another for my daughter. Perfect for active kids that may (or may not) lose their jackets from time to time -- the cost of these won't make you too crazy if that happens.

Nice jacket
I purchased L and XL for my 9 & 11 yr old sons who both wear 14/16-with my older son almost ready to move up a size. The L was too short in the body for my tall 9 yr old, so I returned it for an XL. The XL sleeves are a too long on both my boys, but the elastic cuffs hold them in place and my boys love their new jackets, so I'm happy! By the way the XL has a tag inside that says 18/20.
