I love this bag, its so cute and was perfect for my senior year. The only thing was one of the zippers popped off cause my bag was a bit full. But I was able to put it back in place. Love Dakota the Dino!

Hard to unzip for my 3 year old

Very cute sturdy backpack

I feel like it could be a tad bit bigger. However we are able to fit a binder in it and my kiddo loves the design. Has held up well we’ve had it for almost a year.

Perfect for pre-k!

This bag is the perfect size for my pre-kindergartener! Fits extra set of clothes, lunch bag and a folder comfortably. It’s also pretty sturdy and held up well to a very active 4.5 year old.

Very cute dinosaur backpack! It’s a bit small but still good for our 3 year old. It fits her perfect but smaller than I thought. Very nice though and she loves it!

Quality Construction

The media could not be loaded. I like that the front pocket does fit a DVD case easily; Storage wise, I believe it is very straightforward to access with the zippered openings. I appreciate that the zipper sliders are solid metal ones that are not easily broken like plastic ones; kids do end up handling things roughly and I feel that these zippers will hold up to some rough handling. Construction wise, I didn't notice any issues with the sewning nor any excess loose threading; I love the attention to detail like the leaf zipper pull and thick clear plastic window piece for the front pocket. I would have liked to seen the shoulder straps have more cushioning or padding; I understand that this backpack is meant for light duty and not overfilled with heavy items. Upon initial inspection, I didn't notice any weird plastic nor factory odour scent from the bag. I will definitely add a luggage tag or a unique keychain just in case our son encounters another child with the same backpack at school.

Perfect for K-1 grade kids

Skip Hop Kid’s Backpack is perfect backpack for Kindergarten and Grade 1 Kids. The design is very attractive and our Kindergarten kid loves it. He even wants to play with it after coming back from his school. The materials, overall design and features are great and it feels sturdy and it will last long. Especially 3D details are great. It has perfectly design pockets to keep everything neat and organized. Main storage pocket is large and roomy and can be used for books, snacks and other necessities. The front clear pocket is perfect to keep things that requires to be handy and easily accessible. Side Mesh pocket stores the water bottle. The shoulder straps are well designed and comfy. Overall, this is great backpack and kids in this age group would surely love it.
