I use it to seal mylar bags

I only use it to seal mylar bags. Keep in mind if you are using a flat iron to seal mylar bags, you need one that is hot enough, most aren't, but not too hot. This is perfect for this use.

Works great

I love this flat iron, I bought the exact same one years ago at Walmart and it lasted for like 5 years ,it got damage from the wire from wrapping it around the iron . I like it to curl my hair too.

Hey it's under $30

It might not have some luxuries like a digital screen and a simple lock to prevent it from opening (Easier for storage/ travel) but this item works and I only had to wait 30 seconds for it to be hot enough to use. One thing that bothered me was the rotating switch (Located on the side) that you can turn in either direction in order to control the heat -it simply was blank and initially I had no idea where to turn so that the heat could intensify. The user guide (mini-packet) was pretty useless. I went to target and on ebay but this item priced at $15 is the cheapest buy on the market. Additionally, if you are experienced enough with a flat iron then you probably won't burn yourself as much as first time users who aren't always careful. If you are a timid novice just relax and don't turn up the heat too high or wear special gloves.

EXCELLENT deal for a GREAT hair straightener, could NOT ask for more!

I have been a fan of short, curly hair for a long time, very satisfied with my first purchase of this Revlon hair straightener almost three years ago. It is VERY affordable, works GREAT, and heats up very fast in just less than 10 seconds with setting at 30 ( highest) for my medium, fine hair. Before, I struggled with a set of hot curl rollers that took longer to heat up, to produce uneven curls. Now, with this second same one as backup in case if it is discontinued, I'm happy. I tested it today, and it worked GREAT with a 3-year manufacturer warranty! Using a hair straightener to make curls is FANTASTIC!

Nice little straightener for the price

This straightener was the perfect gift for my 12 year old who to learn with. It does take a little while to heat up, but it works great. It has different heat settings which is great and also has a long enough cord so my daughter is able to straighten her long hair with ease. Price point also sold me on this product... I honestly needed something to try out and this ended up being the perfect straightener for the money. My daughter does have extremely thick hair, so she often has to separate her hair out for easier use. We have had this item for over a year now without any issues what so ever. I would recommend this item to others!

Don’t bother buying this

It does not work. I have purchased Revlon flat irons for years, but this is the cheaper version of what I usually get. You can’t tell what temperature it is and it was not hot enough to do anything. Buy the next one up in the product lineup.where you can see the heat setting clearly displayed on the outside. I had to buy that one because this one was useless.

The product didn't reach. Update:11.02.2018: I received the product. Didn't use it much earlier as we were traveling. Took the straightener out almost 3 months later and the product gave burning smell on connecting it to power and got damaged on its almost maiden use. No service centers available..., Better to go for other brands with better service and warranty

Worth every penny!

Love this straightener totally! Perfect even for frizzy hair.. worth the price! And the best thing about this product is..it does not damage your hair at all! No matter how many times you use it! It makes your hair more softer!..even after you wash your hair..your hair won't be damaged..they will be more softer than before!.. ????
